The fact that Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander are two of the busiest actors in Hollywood means that it’s hard for the couple to be in the same country at the same time. But this weekend, Michael and his girlfriend found themselves back in Australia, where their romance began, for a bowling game.
“They’ve never so much as uttered a word to confirm or deny the status of their relationship publicly,” reports Daily Mail . “But perhaps it was simply a happy coincidence that Michael Fassbender and his rumoured girlfriend Alicia Vikander happened to be in the same place at the same time on Saturday. The notoriously private Irishman, 39, and his The Light Between Oceans co-star, 27, were spotted leaving Darling Harbour’s Kingpin Bowling in Sydney after playing a few games.”

The article also reported that, while the two made sure that they did not have any signs of expressive love, let alone PDA, they made their way into the same car after they were done with bowling.
Looks like the actors enjoy the small things in life as much as we do.
Right before their reunion in Australia, Alicia Vikander was seen vacationing in Brazil without him. She had some of her friends accompany her to the tropical city of Rio, spending time by the pool with some rose.
“ Alicia Vikander was enjoying some well-deserved time off on Sunday during a holiday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil,” reports Daily Mail . “The 27-year-old revealed her incredible trim and toned figure in a white two-piece, which boasted a bandeau top and cheeky bottoms.”

“Alicia showcased her natural beauty as she went make-up free and had her chestnut brown hair pulled into a ponytail while relaxing poolside,” reports Daily Mail . “The actress was seen topping up her golden tan on a sunlounger, before treating herself to a glass of rosé wine.”
While Michael Fassbender was nowhere to be seen, the actress didn’t seem to mind that she was spending her free time away from him. That sure is something that she must have gotten used to!
It was obvious that the Irish-German actor wanted to keep their romance private when a journalist asked him a question about her during a press conference.
“It has been reported that Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander’s upcoming movie The Light Between Oceans is where their love ignited, but it’s not a good idea to ask the actor about that,” reports Sydney Morning Herald . “ The notoriously private Irish star shot down a question on that very notion despite talk being excitedly rife on the subject with the release of the movie’s official trailer this week.”
“Dropping his toothy grin, and reaching out and giving this reporter a light and unexpected smack on the right shoulder, he replied, ‘nice talking to you’, before turning on his heels and heading off in the direction of the next waiting reporter,” reports the same article.
Having spent much of his adult life in front of a camera, Michael Fassbender is not new to these kinds of prodding questions, especially when he has dated high-profile models and actresses like Naomi Campbell. He sure knows how to bat away unwanted attention and questions!
This won’t be the last time that Michael and Alicia will be in Australia. They will be promoting The Light Between Oceans , the movie that kindled the love for each other, at the end of this summer, which means that they will be back in Down Under to support the movie.
