Dina Manzo Signs Divorce Papers, Moves On With New Boyfriend

When Dina Manzo joined The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she was happily married to Tommy Manzo. He never appeared on the show, and he was never home with her. Instead, Tommy was putting his career and his work ahead of his family. Cheating rumors surfaced while Dina was filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and the two decided to separate. But it took Manzo many years to sign the divorce papers. For a long time, she stayed married for the sake of her daughter, Lexi Manzo, and she struggled to make sense of her failed marriage during her return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey two years ago.

According to a new Radar Online report, Dina Manzo is now revealing that she has indeed signed the divorce papers. About two months ago, Manzo decided that the time was right, and she officially ended the marriage between herself and Tommy. When the website asked her about her marriage, Dina decided to reveal a surprising update.

“I am, yes,” Dina Manzo revealed to Radar Online when asked if she was officially divorced, adding, “Divorce is never easy. It was a very emotional divorce for me. Of course, it’s heartbreaking, but things happen the way they’re supposed to. It was a long time coming. I think we just both had different ideas of what a marriage should be.”

Even though Manzo had struggled with the decision for a long time, she reveals that the divorce was bound to happen. It has been years since they separated, and Dina shared her personal struggles on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. But it sounds like she just needed a push in the right direction. For about a year, Dina has been dating a man named David Cantin, and they are doing a bi-coastal relationship, as he flies between New York and California.

“We’re both heavily involved in pediatric cancer — [we met] through a project for that. I guess it’s been about a year now,” Dina has revealed about her new boyfriend, adding, “He’s just the most loving man. He’s really an awesome person and very caring. He treats my family so good, and he’s a great dad to his kids and I see that, how important that is.”

Even though Manzo has moved on with a new man, she isn’t thinking about getting married again. These days, Dina is focusing on her skincare line, Glow by Dina, which is scheduled to launch this spring. In addition, Dina has moved to California, and her daughter, Lexi, comes to visit her about once a month.

“I’m not even thinking that,” Manzo revealed when asked about possibly getting married again, adding, “We’re just having a good time and building our life together. Literally as you know, two months out of divorce, I’m just focused on staying in a happy stage right now. He’s bicoastal — he goes back and forth. I don’t go back and forth as much. My daughter comes here to visit me and my mom was just here. I go back maybe once a month.”

For a while, rumors were swirling that Dina could be returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey. According to E! Online, Dina has stayed in touch with Teresa Giudice while she was serving time behind bars. No word on whether Manzo visited her friend in prison, but the two emailed almost daily. It is possible that Teresa encouraged her to finally end her divorce so she could focus fully on her new relationship.
