Britney Spears: How The Pop Star Stays Fit And Mentally Healthy

Britney Spears has been wowing fans with her amazing bikini body. Although some have accused the pop star of using Photoshop on some of her bikini pics, it’s clear that she’s worked hard to get the body she wants.

According to the Hollywood Life, Britney Spears regularly practices yoga to achieve her incredible body and to help strengthen her mind. The “Pretty Girls” singer shared a photo of her amazing handstand on Instagram, along with the caption, “Work play work play.”

When Spears is not practicing yoga, she’s often burning calories on stage during her popular Britney: Piece of Me show in Las Vegas. She also takes cardio classes in the gym, which allows her to indulge on treats like Cheetos and Starbucks Frappuccinos. According to Us Weekly, Spears still loves eating her beloved fast food, but in the morning she eats egg whites with whole wheat toast, and peaches.

“She doesn’t starve herself. She’s more about working out. She has muscle and she’s strong. This is the best she’s looked in a while,” the source told the magazine.

The mother-of-two still has rock-hard abs like when she first came out on the scene in 1998. Since her split from ex Charlie Ebersol in June 2015, Britney has been happily focused on herself. According to the tabloid, Britney did high-intensity interval training at Drenched Fitness in Los Angeles to get her body makeover.

“I think she’s drawn to it because it’s a tough workout,” says creator Julie Kennington. “It’s cardio, as well as strength-training.”

Spears’ intense fitness class involves burning 650 calories in an hour, the tabloid revealed in its April 25 issue. The exercise consists of an intense treadmill and weight-lift workout, followed by a rest period before Spears hits the treadmill once again.

“You work hard to get your heart rate high, then you recover, then you get your heart rate high again,” Kennington told the magazine.

Not every one of Britney’s fans will be able to afford the princely class. Just one class costs a whopping $30. But you can still get an intense workout at home by doing intervals in sprints, the magazine added. Britney Spears recently shut down the haters when she posted a photo of herself “chilling” in her bikini on her beach vacation.

Many fans – and haters – accused the pop star of Photoshopping her previous bikini photo. But she shut them down when she showed off her incredibly toned body in new photos on Instagram, according to a previous report via the Inquisitr.

Not only is Britney physically fit and healthy, but she’s also in a healthier state of mind thanks to her Las Vegas residency that’s been keeping her active and busy, according to a new report in Britain’s Heat magazine. The singer has come a long way since her meltdown in 2007 and credits her life to a special man, and no, it’s not a new boyfriend.

“Britney’s been gradually getting better for years, and being in Vegas is a big help for her state of mind. You can see the difference in how she was in those first shows in 2013 to now. But it’s her new life coach – who she calls her ‘swagger coach’ – that’s helping her take things to the next level. She won’t tell anyone what they do or who he is, but it’s working. She’s more confident than she’s been in forever.”

Spears is also thankful for her caring dad Jamie who has been her conservator. Although he’s still in charge of her finances, the singer has been feeling hopeful about her future in music, especially with a new album in the works.

“Jamie’s still in charge, but Brit’s at the point where she’s accepted this is the way things have to be for now and that it’s helped her get to this point. She feels better than she has in years and thinks the only way is up from here.”
