Kailyn Lowry Walks Red Carpet With Jo Rivera, ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Steps Out Without Wedding Ring
Kailyn Lowry has been the target of divorce rumors for several months now. The Teen Mom 2 star is currently married to Javi Marroquin. Their tumultuous marriage has been documented on the MTV show though it appeared to be going better when Season 7 premiered last month. After Marroquin’s deployment in January, Lowry seemed to be having a hard time being separated from her husband. The couple experienced a miscarriage last year, and it looks like that took a toll on their marriage. Lowry has not been shy about calling her husband out on social media and even stepped out with her ex-boyfriend, Jo Rivera, recently.
Last night, Kailyn Lowry attended the MTV Movie Awards with Jo Rivera. It was not a date, as the two are involved with other people, but it certainly got the rumor mill churning. According to Us Weekly, Kailyn Lowry posed for photos with Jo Rivera on the red carpet. Several other Teen Mom couples from the franchise were invited to attend. Farrah Abraham showed up with her ex-boyfriend, Simon Saran. Last year, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra walked the red carpet but did not attend this year. Lowry seemed to be having a good time. Rivera mentioned they were doing really well together, building a friendship for the sake of their son, Issac.
Despite the rumors that Kailyn Lowry and Jo Rivera are hooking up, the pair still seemed to be having a good time together. Rivera recently became engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Vee. The two welcomed their first child back in October. Lowry has been spending time with her two boys while Javi Marroquin is away. He will be returning home sometime this fall and initially Lowry had a family vacation planned. It appears that has been canceled, and the two have unfollowed one another on social media. Divorce rumors are now circulating for Lowry, and she has yet to refute any of the claims. In fact, Lowry was spotted at the MTV Movie Awards without her wedding ring on.
A new episode of Teen Mom 2 will be airing tonight and will feature the confirmation that Kailyn Lowry will have to lose her husband to another deployment. It was talked about in a recent episode but wasn’t confirmed. In the middle of preparing for all of the chaos, Lowry was dealt a rough blow with a miscarriage. The two had talked about expanding their family because Lincoln was already getting bigger and needing less and less care. Javi Marroquin has always wanted a big family and Lowry was getting baby fever. The loss affected both of them differently, and they didn’t have much time to grieve together before Marroquin was deployed.
The reality that Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin may split isn’t surprising to Teen Mom 2 fans. Several have complained about the way he treated her from the beginning, and it seems she is now feeling that way as well. While Lowry isn’t one to just give up and walk away, she is getting drained from the very relationship that is supposed to build her up.
Just a few days after Marroquin was deployed, Kailyn Lowry went in for some plastic surgery. This was a drastic change for someone who had always been confident with their body and looks. Fans immediately alluded to trouble within her marriage, and looking back, it seems like that might have coincided with it all. There are still several months to go before Marroquin will be back home and the couple can talk about where their marriage stands. Kailyn Lowry is going to have to make a decision soon about whether or not she wants to work things out or if she is prepared to walk away from her marriage for good.
