Joseph Baena: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 18-Year-Old Love Child is His Clone In New Pics

Joseph Baena is the spitting image of his famous dad, Arnold Schwarzenegger. The rarely seen 18-year-old son of the Terminator star was photographed in Malibu after getting groceries on Thursday, according to Us Weekly. At age 18, Joseph looks almost identical to his dad when he was a young man.

In a series of snaps posted online, Joseph sports the same long curly hair that Arnold had in his acting heyday in the early 1980s (think Conan the Barbarian), and he has a buff build like his father as well. Joseph also shares his dad’s megawatt smile, and in one photo, he looks right at photographers and gives them the “hang loose” sign. Joseph could almost be called Arnold’s mini-me, except he’s not so mini anymore.

In case you need a refresher, Joseph Baena was born in 1997 after Schwarzenegger, 68, had a secret affair with his family’s former housekeeper, Mildred Patricia Baena. Baena, who was also married, worked for the former California governor and his then-wife Maria Shriver for over 20 years. Schwarzenegger and Shriver split in 2011 after 25 years of marriage and the revelation that he had fathered Joseph.

In addition to his son Joseph, the action star has four kids with Shriver — Patrick, 22, Katherine, 26, Christina, 24, and Christopher, 18. In a bizarre twist, Arnold and Maria’s son Christopher was born just one week before Joseph Baena.

Last year, the father of five talked about his relationship with his son Joseph during a guest spot on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM radio show, saying everything was “fantastic” with his fifth child who was born as a result of his affair with Mildred.

“He’s terrific and he totally understands the situation. So, it all has worked out… It’s a very tough situation for him. It’s a very tough situation for my kids, very tough situation for my family. It was tough for everybody. But it has happened and now we have to figure it out, right?”

Of course, last year, Joseph Baena graduated from high school, but his famous father skipped the ceremony, according to TMZ. On the day that Joseph graduated from Frontier High School in Bakersfield, California (where he previously nominated for Homecoming King), Arnold had lunch with his daughter Katherine in Santa Monica. But since the father and son reportedly have a good relationship, it’s likely that Arnold simply skipped the ceremony so that the paparazzi wouldn’t ruin his youngest son’s special day.

In his 2012 tell-all, Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story, Schwarzenegger wrote about his fling with Baena, which he says occurred in a guest house on his property when he stayed back to shoot Batman & Robin while his family was on vacation. He also revealed that at first he was in denial that Joseph was his child since Baena listed her husband as the father on the baby’s birth certificate. But as the boy started to grow, the actor wrote that the resemblance was so strong that “I realized there was little doubt that he was my son.”

Mildred Baena previously told Hello magazine that Shriver noticed how much Joseph looked like her husband and came right out and asked Baena if Arnold was the child’s father. Baena said she admitted to the affair, and the two women cried together. While Maria noticed the resemblance early on, as Joseph has gotten older, he clearly looks even more like his famous dad.
