A couple of months ago, Jana Kramer and her husband, Michael Caussin, welcomed a sweet, adorable daughter into their family. The Inquisitr reported that the little girl, Jolie Rae, was lucky enough to be born to two parents who were incredibly excited to welcome her into this world.
Kramer told People Magazine that she was very eager to become a mother, and that the moment in which she got to hold little Jolie for the first time was absolutely wonderful.
“Words can’t even begin to describe how much happiness I’m feeling right now. Holding my healthy and beautiful baby girl in my arms is something that’s truly indescribable. Michael and I are so thankful for this wonderful blessing! […] Being a mom will be the greatest job I’ll ever have. I feel like the luckiest girl alive to be on this journey with the love of my life.”
Her husband also echoed these sentiments.
“I am so incredibly excited about becoming a father,” Caussin said. “For me it is just another dream come true and I cannot imagine tackling parenthood with anyone else but Jana.”

Now that the first two months are over, Jana has begun making public appearances and we have to admit that she looks incredible!
In March, she told People that she rarely dresses up these days.
“I don’t wear anything nice anymore, I have spit-up on me constantly, I haven’t showered in three days, and I’m not quite sure when I brushed my teeth last.”
Despite her experiences of the rough and tumble life of new parents, Kramer and Caussin showed up at the Academy of Country Music Awards looking amazing and fairly well-rested.
“The 32-year-old stunned in a red jersey halter gown from Rubin Singer’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection, which featured a cowl-neck front and leg slit,” Entertainment Tonight reported . “Her husband, Michael Caussin, was there, too, looking dapper in a classic black tuxedo and gray tie that perfectly complemented the country star’s ensemble.”

One of our favorite things about Jana, however, is her honesty. The actress is so down-to-earth that she is not afraid of disclosing her less glamorousexperiences.
“I have about three piles of Spanx on me right now. I’m just like, ‘How many Spanx can I put in this dress?’ It’s hard at first getting used to the new, postpartum bod. But I’ve been working out a bunch and just trying to be confident and be like, ‘You know what, I’m a mom and I’m embracing the new me!’”
Even though little Jolie didn’t attend the event with her mommy and daddy, she still showed off her adorable looks and fashion sense. Jana shared a picture of her daughter via Instagram, in which she in dressed in her first little black dress.
Recently, Kramer and Caussin have been asked why they chose the name “Jolie.”
“I heard the name Jolie and I just thought it was so pretty,” Kramer said. “And then Rae is my middle name, so I wanted to have a little piece of my name in hers.”
Jolie is the French word for “beautiful,” and it is already obvious that little Jolie Rae is definitely living up to this.
Kramer has said that one of her favorite aspects of life with Jolie is getting to see Michael be a father.
“[My husband] is amazing on diaper duty–he’s an absolute sweetheart, he’s extremely hands-on, and I feel confident leaving and him knowing exactly what to do. Most guys are like, ‘I don’t know what to do,’ but he’s super hands-on and absolutely amazing.”
