In what is described as the second largest acrylic glass panel aquarium in the world we see everything from whale sharks to manta rays. The aquarium is called the Kuroshio Sea and is part of the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. It holds 7,500 cubic meters (1,981,290 gallons) of water in a tank that measures 8.2 meters by 22.5 meters with a thickness of 60 centimeters for the acrylic glass walls.
