‘RHOBH’ Star Yolanda Foster’s Husband: New Details About David Foster’s Date With Selma Blair

Yolanda Foster and her husband, David, announced they were parting ways in December 2015. While their divorce has yet to be finalized, David has reportedly moved on from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star with someone new.

Last week, Yolanda Foster’s husband, 66, paid a visit to Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood, California, where he was spotted with 43-year-old actress Selma Blair.

“It was definitely a date!” a source told Us Weekly on March 7.

Although David’s rep didn’t respond to requests for comment, a second source revealed another detail about his time spent with Blair, claiming Caitlyn Jenner was also present and sat with them briefly during their meal.

“Who goes over from her table and sits down with them? Caitlyn Jenner, which means she’s now visiting with the woman who plays her ex-wife,” an onlooker told People Magazine on March 3.

Currently, Blair is starring in The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, in which she plays Kris Jenner, the former wife of Caitlyn, previously known as a man named Bruce. In addition, Caitlyn has ties to David because David’s former wife, Linda Thompson, was married to Caitlyn when she was Bruce. David even starred in Caitlyn’s son’s reality show, The Princes of Malibu, and served as Brandon and Brody Jenner’s stepfather for some time.

As People Magazine revealed, David is single after splitting from Yolanda Foster months ago, while Blair has been solo since 2012, when she and boyfriend Jason Bleick, the father of her 4-year-old son, parted ways.

In the weeks after Yolanda Foster and her husband parted ways, rumors claimed their breakup may have been prompted by Yolanda Foster’s Lyme disease or his suspicions about her illness. However, a short time later, David released a statement, shutting down any speculation into his former partner’s diagnosis.

“Over the past few weeks, a great deal of inaccurate or baseless information has been reported claiming to represent my thoughts and feelings,” David told Us Weekly weeks after his split from Yolanda Foster was announced. “It is painful to watch this happen repeatedly — especially while trying to cope with the personal nature of the challenges surrounding the breakup of our loving marriage.”

“I have always had and continue to have the utmost respect and love for [Yolanda Foster], which is why it is so frustrating to see headlines questioning her chronic debilitating illness,” he noted. “I have been by Yolanda’s side over the past four years to the best of my ability as she battled with the complexities of her Lyme diagnosis.”

Yolanda Foster was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, just months after she and David wed (Yolanda Foster and David tied the knot on November 11, 2011). Since then, Yolanda Foster has dedicated herself to finding a cure for her illness. Unfortunately, that dedication ultimately took away from their relationship and led to their December 2015 divorce announcement.

“We are grateful for the years we’ve spent together and believe wholeheartedly that we did our best,” they told Us Weekly in a joint statement at the time. “I hope that we can pave the road ahead of us with all we’ve learned and with the love and respect we will always have for one another.”
