Kim Kardashian Claims ‘Absolutely Not Did That Happen!’ About Scenes In ‘The People Vs. O.J. Simpson’ [Video]

Although Kim Kardashian loves the FX series The People Vs. O.J. Simpson, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star confirmed that parts of the television show have been “sensationalized.” Kim Kardashian’s deceased father, Robert Kardashian, Sr., represented O.J. Simpson at what was dubbed “the trial of the century.” The FX network recently revived the trial in the mini-series.

Similarly, Khloe Kardashian went on record explaining how she feels about The People Vs. O.J. Simpson, confessing that she’s “not upset” about how sensationalized the series is, however, she wants to set the record straight on some of the more questionable scenes involving the Kardashian children.

According to Kardashian, “there was some scene of the kids chanting ‘Kardashian’ when my dad was reading the potential suicide note,” Khloe revealed on The Late Late Show. Shocked at the scene she doesn’t remember happening in real life, Khloe “even called Kim,” to verify that it took place, since she was 10-years-old at the time the scene was supposed to have taken place in real life. Kim was older, and would remember better.

Khloe asked Kim if it really happened, but according to Kim “[a]bsolutely not did that happen!'” Khloe also revealed that she thinks the producers are “kind of sensationalizing the Kardashian name” in the series.

For example, “when O.J. was contemplating suicide, it was in my room” and not in Kim Kardashian’s room, as depicted in the series. Kardashian did add that she thinks the producers used the Kardashian name “to bring the younger audience in.”

Both Kardashian sisters think The People Vs. O.J. Simpson is a “phenomenal miniseries,” praising the producers for a “great job” even though the series does not accurately follow the childhood memories both Kim and Khloe have. Ultimately, both sisters “really appreciate the way they’ve portrayed my father,” Robert Kardashian, Khloe added, confessing she is “very grateful for that.”

One reason Kardashian hasn’t watched the whole series like Kim is that during the trial, people would personally attack the Kardashian family. Khloe revealed that people “used to key ‘guilty’ on my dad’s car when we were at church, like walking out. It was horrible…They were incredibly mean and cruel.” Kardashian “lived one version” of the story The People Vs. O.J. Simpson tells.

Acknowledging that the FX mini-series is probably more stressful for O.J. and Nicole Brown Simpson’s children, Kardashian admitted she has not “seen them in like, I don’t know, I wanna say like six or seven years,” adding that it “has to be super tough” for them to see the mini-series.

The O.J. Simpson case is back in the media spotlight not just because of The People Vs. O.J. Simpson, but also because a bloody knife was found on a property Simpson used to own. One of the major drawbacks in the prosecution’s case during the trial was the murder weapon was missing.

Although they have not said anything publicly, an insider revealed to E! News that Kim Kardashian and her sisters are “just as shocked as everyone else about this possible new development” now that a possible murder weapon has been identified. The knife is currently being tested to see if it has a connection to the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

Kim Kardashian only recently gave birth to her second child, a boy named Saint, but took some time to take North shopping at Toys R Us in Woodland Hills, California. Kim looked radiant in an all-black ensemble, which included a black top and leggings, topped with a black faux fur coat. Kim wore a black baseball hat on her head, and sunglasses to shield her eyes.

Little North looked adorable as she could hardly contain her excitement. The toddler matched Kim, wearing a black shirt, black leggings, and black sneakers as she raced to the door of the store.
