Miley Cyrus Has Epic, Curse-Filled Meltdown About Donald Trump: ‘I Think I May Vomit’
Assuming that politics does indeed make for strange bedfellows, Miley Cyrus is now in the proverbial sack with much of the Republican establishment, considering their mutual antipathy towards the GOP frontrunner Donald Trump. In the wake of Trump’s big gains on Super Tuesday, Cyrus joined a mounting contingent of voices calling for someone — anyone — to slow his roll before the billionaire lands a spot in the Oval Office come November.
As reported by Us Magazine, Miley got the urge to rage via Instagram shortly after Donald Trump declared victory on Tuesday night. The 23-year-old singer posted a photo of herself with a tear sliding down her nose, along with a tirade in which she pulled no punches in her assessment of the notoriously coiffed Republican candidate.
“Yes. That is a tear rolling down my cheek dripping off the end of my nose… This makes me so unbelievable scared and sad… Not only for our country but for animals that I love more than anything in this world… My heart is broken into a [100,000] pieces… I think I may vomit… YOU are not destiny! It is not your job to decide when a living things life is over…. & YOU [Donald Trump” ARE NOT GOD NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU THINK YOU ARE!!!”
Like a number of outspoken celebrities before her, the artist formerly known as Hannah Montana even pledged to leave the Unites States if the man behind Trump Steaks ultimately gets elected to high office.
“We’re all just f******g jam between his rich a** toes! Honestly f**k this shit I am moving if this is my president! I don’t say things I don’t mean!”
Some of Miley’s rage was also directed at Kendall Jones, a Texas cheerleader and hunter who sparked a backlash in 2014 after she posted a photo of herself on social media posing with a lion she had killed. Like Jones, the Trump family engages in big game hunting from time to time and Jones has expressed her admiration for the Trumps. Miley Cyrus is widely known as an animal lover — despite the time that she drew widespread jeers on social media after doodling on her dog.
But if Miley’s threat to become an expatriate doesn’t shake the electorate to its very core, perhaps the formation of a new political action committee – a Super PAC, actually – whose raison d’être is to unseat Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention in July will surely pique the attention of voters. Former New Hampshire governor John Sununu, who once served in the administration of President George H.W. Bush, is now one of the most prominent Republicans undertaking a virtual revolt against Trump.
“Frankly, at this point we want anyone but Trump,” Sununu said according to an Associated Press report posted by Foster’s Daily Democrat.
To be sure, this is probably the first time that Sununu, once labeled by Time Magazine as President Bush’s “Bad Cop” has found anything in common with the likes of Miley Cyrus, as well as the other celebs who are looking for higher ground in the event that Trump becomes commander-in-chief. Rosie O’Donnell, Cher, and Samuel L. Jackson have all said they will leave the country in the event of a “Trumpocalypse.” Jon Stewart, former host of news satire program The Daily Show took it one step further, saying that he would commandeer a rocket and leave the planet if Donald Trump becomes president, as it would be a sure sign that “this planet’s clearly gone bonkers.”
Just save a seat for Miley, John.
