Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Threw Her Son A Country-Themed Birthday Party As Gavin Rossdale Divorce Continues

Gwen Stefani’s boyfriend, country singer Blake Shelton, appears to be rubbing off on her and her family. In addition to her children’s new wardrobe, which is now stocked with camouflage and other country styles, Gwen Stefani’s youngest son, Apollo, was recently thrown a country-themed birthday party in Los Angeles.

According to a February 22 report by Hollywood Life, Gwen Stefani’s son’s 2nd birthday was equipped with a trampoline, a petting zoo, horse rides, a band and plenty of PDA between his mom and her man.

Gwen Stefani and Shelton were reportedly close to one another throughout Apollo’s birthday, and were also caught kissing more than once. Meanwhile, Gwen Stefani’s ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, was not seen at the bash, and not surprisingly so. After all, Rossdale was recently accused of cheating on his former wife with the couple’s nanny, Mindy Mann.

Exactly one week after Gwen Stefani’s relationship with Shelton was confirmed, an Us Weekly report claimed the former No Doubt singer had caught her husband cheating on her on the family’s iPad, which included plans between the two to meet for sex. While Rossdale initially denied the claims, which were first made by another one of Gwen Stefani’s employees, he was said to have ultimately came clean, and after he reportedly admitted to being unfaithful months after the text messages were revealed, Gwen Stefani filed for divorce.

“I wish it didn’t happen. I wish this that all this wasn’t happening,” Gwen Stefani told Entertainment Tonight in November. “But at the same time, I feel like it was part of my life journey.”

Just three months after filing for divorce from her husband of 13-years, Gwen Stefani admitted that there were “so many bad things” about her divorce from Rossdale, the father of her three sons, but despite that, she was joyful about her newfound romance with Shelton.

Also during her interview, Gwen Stefani spoke of a number of songs written throughout her split, which she feels should have served as warning signs for her troubled marriage.

“Because of my situation right now … I feel like I go back and listen to a lot of that stuff and I’m, like, I get sick,” Gwen Stefani explained. “You look at the songs and go, ‘That was a red flag!’ ”

“In my life, I’ve had two really bad heartbreaks and I’ve written some really incredible music out of it,” Gwen Stefani added. “I feel so lucky to have that, and to be able to share it.”

Since her split from Rossdale, Gwen Stefani has released two new singles, including “Used To Love You,” which is believed to have been about her divorce, and “Make Me Like You,” which she recently confirmed was inspired by her current boyfriend.

Although Gwen Stefani’s divorce has yet to be finalized, a Hollywood Life report claimed last month that the 46-year-old mother of three was encouraging her lawyers to speed up the process so that she could officially move on with her life, and perhaps, take the next step in her relationship with Shelton.

While the report, via Life & Style, claimed Gwen Stefani and Miranda Lambert, Shelton’s ex-wife, are in a race to the altar, the two women have been quite civil online, with Lambert recently following Gwen Stefani, and Stefani favoriting one of Lambert’s tweets.

Gwen Stefani will return to The Voice for Season 10 later this month.
