‘Bachelor’ Olivia Caridi Jokes That Ben Higgins Just Wasn’t That Into Her

Olivia Caridi is responding to her elimination from The Bachelor with humor. On Monday, as the latest episode aired, Olivia posted a tweet that poked fun at the fact that Ben Higgins sent her home.

Olivia tweeted that the episode was a remake of the movie He’s Just Not That Into You.

Monday night’s episode started off with the continuation of the rose ceremony. On last week’s episode, Ben, after he had already given Olivia a rose prior to the rose ceremony and several of the other women told him that Olivia wasn’t nice, pulled her aside to have a talk. As shown on the latest episode, Ben asked her about her tension with the other women. Olivia implied that she wasn’t connecting with the other women because she’s smarter than them and is not interested in trivial things.

“Like it’s been hard for me to really…Everybody here’s, like, really into painting their nails and doing each other’s hair, and that’s great, but like I’m just different. Like, I like reading books in my room and, like, thinking, and that’s what I do. And I want to talk smart things.”

Olivia, in tears, also explained that she has had a target on her back ever since she got the first impression rose on the first night. Ben listened intently and had her rejoin the group of women at the rose ceremony. To some of their disappointment, he didn’t take Olivia’s rose back and send her home, choosing instead to send Jennifer home.

Ben Higgins and the remaining women then went to the Bahamas. After a solo date with Caila and a group date, Ben went on a two-on-one date with Olivia Caridi and Emily Ferguson. The three took a boat to an island. Ben, taking Olivia aside first, again asked her about her difficult relationship with the other women. Olivia again reiterated that she’s more of an intellectual than the other women.

“I’m more of an introvert. I’m very grounded. I’m very in tune with my body. I’m really strong, I’m really confident. I like news and politics and religion, deep intellectual things are just my jam…. From the moment I met you I knew that it was right and I’m like, I’m in love with you.”

Later, after Ben had some alone time with Emily, he picked up the rose and took Olivia aside again. While Emily thought that she was going home, the opposite happened. Ben told Olivia that he could reciprocate her feelings and sent her home.

“I don’t think I can reciprocate those feelings. It’s just not a place I can get to… Today, I can’t give you this rose.”

Ben then walked back to Emily, gave her the rose, and took off with her. Olivia was left on the island sobbing.

“What I thought Ben wanted was everything that I am. But I guess not. He let go of a really good person today.”

In an Instagram post earlier on Monday, Emily called the latest episode “epic.”

Olivia Caridi has responded to watching herself on The Bachelor with humor before. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Olivia, in response to the airing of her disastrous dance routine in front of Ben Higgins in Las Vegas, tweeted that the dance lessons that she took as a young girl didn’t pay off.
