Did Jessa Duggar And Jinger Duggar Get Their Hair Done For ’19 Kids And Counting’ Return? [Photos]

Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jinger Duggar recently got their hair done at a salon that will be familiar to many 19 Kids and Counting fans. The Duggars don’t usually shell out money for professional haircuts, so the sisters’ new ‘dos could be yet another sign that their family is about to return to TV.

On Wednesday, the Freshair Salon & Boutique in Fayetteville, Arkansas, shared a photo of Jessa Duggar’s new hairstyle on its Facebook page. You’d think that Jessa would want a shorter haircut now that she’s a new mom with a baby who might get his tiny fingers all tangled up in her long locks, but Jessa actually decided to keep most of her length.

“Got the pleasure of doing this sweet girls hair today..we trimmed up her layers, as well as shaped it around her face,” Freshair’s Facebook post read.

Hopefully, the sound of a hairdryer doesn’t upset little Spurgeon Elliot Seewald too much -—Jessa’s baby boy probably has to listen to it for a very long time every morning. Jessa Duggar might not have a 9-to-5 job, but she probably feels like she’s done a day’s worth of hard work after she’s finished drying and styling all that hair.

Jessa Duggar obviously didn’t make a huge change as far as her hair’s length is concerned, but it does look quite a bit different than it did back in December. As you can see, Jessa was rocking bangs when she and Ben Seewald met a Christian rapper who goes by the stage name Flame.

Jinger Duggar also got her hair cut as the Freshair Salon & Boutique, and her photo was posted on the Salon’s Facebook page the day after Jessa’s was. Jinger was the daughter who held on to the “crunchy curls” look for the longest, but she’s recently started emulating her sisters by rocking softer waves.

“Today Jinger and I decided to change things up..we trimmed her length, added some layers and framed it around her face!” the photo above was captioned. “She is such a sweet girl.”

The salon didn’t say whether a camera crew was with Jessa and Jinger when they came in to get their haircut. However, Jinger’s Facebook photo did include the hashtag ?#?19kidsandcounting, and the Duggars have filmed at the Freshair Salon before. According to the Duggar Family Blog, Jessa Duggar and her sisters can be seen getting their hair done at the salon in a 2014 episode of 19 Kids and Counting titled “Duggars Go Glam.” The girls were there to experiment with makeup and hairstyles for Jill Duggar Dillard’s wedding, and Jessa revealed that they weren’t regular customers of the beauty parlor — the Duggars only get their hair professionally cut for special occasions.

“We never really go to salons,” Jessa told the TLC cameras. “We have friends who can cut hair, and they will do that for us.”

It’s possible that Jinger and Jessa Duggar both got their hair done because they’re about to begin filming those sit-down interviews that are always interspersed throughout their family’s TV specials and reality TV series. The Hollywood Gossip is alleging that TLC has decided to revive 19 Kids and Counting, which was cancelled last July in the wake of the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal. However, TLC just can’t quit the Duggars — Jill, Jessa, and Josh’s wife, Anna, went on to star in a three-part special titled Jill & Jessa: Counting On, and the Duggars were recently spotted filming with TLC again.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jessa Duggar and a few of her sisters were accompanied by cameras last week when they went shopping at a thrift store near their home in Arkansas. RadarOnline has also revealed what could be a big 19 Kids and Counting storyline when the show returns: the building of a rather pricey tree house. Earlier this month, Jana Duggar and her twin brother, John David, were filmed purchasing $3,500 worth of wood and other materials at Ridout Lumber in Fayetteville. The manager of the store said that TLC contacted him the day before Jana and John David came in to let him know that they would be filming there.

TLC hasn’t officially announced that 19 Kids and Counting is returning yet, so it’s possible that the Duggars are actually working on another special or series of specials like Jill & Jessa: Counting On. However, TLC seemingly isn’t sticking with the same format that it used for Jill & Jessa: Counting On — the trio of specials focused mainly on Jill and Jessa Duggar, but neither girl was with Jana and John David when they visited the lumberyard. Instead, the twins were accompanied by three of their younger siblings.
