‘The Bachelor’ 2016 Spoilers: Episode 5 Takes Ben Higgins And The Ladies To Mexico

What is coming up in Episode 5 of ABC’s The Bachelor 2016? Spoilers indicate that Ben Higgins and his remaining 11 bachelorettes will be heading to Mexico, and viewers can be sure that the sparks will fly. Reality Steve’s spoilers break down the action expected to take place during this February 1 show.

Episode 5 is said to have 2 one-on-one dates and one group date and two ladies will head home by the end of the episode. Reality Steve’s spoilers tease that Amanda Stanton and Lauren Himle will be the two ladies getting individual dates with Ben Higgins in this week’s show. The remaining ladies will head out on a group date.

According to TV Guide, Ben’s first one-on-one date in Mexico will include a hot air balloon over ancient pyramids. It sounds as if Amanda gets the opportunity for this date and Bachelor spoilers from Reality Steve share that Stanton does get the rose on this date, so things must go fairly well.

The group date is said to focus on Ben and the ladies taking part in some sort of culinary face-off. The group first worked on learning some Spanish phrases, then they all walked around the town, using what they’d learned with the locals. Reality Steve’s spoilers note that the ladies were given food lists and had to navigate a market to pick up the food on the list to use later in the evening.

The bachelorettes were put into pairs, but Olivia Caridi ended up paired up with Ben. Many fans would imagine that this will lead to some tension with the other ladies. Eventually, the group cooked dinner together and the pair of Lauren Bushnell and Jubilee Sharpe ended up with the winning dish.

The group date continued with an after party and Steve’s Bachelor spoilers share that Higgins eliminated Jubilee at this point. Just what led to that decision on Ben’s part? Lauren Himle snagged the other individual date in Episode 5 and Bachelor spoilers detail that Lauren and Ben will take part of a fashion show. The two end up walking the runway along with some models in the show and quite a few photos of the event were shared on social media when it took place. Per Reality Steve’s spoilers, things get a bit ugly once again with Olivia and the other ladies during the Episode 5 cocktail party. Of course, viewers will have to wait and see whether this makes it on-air, but Steve’s Bachelor spoilers detail that Olivia made a reference to Amanda being a Teen Mom and things are said to have gotten dramatic.

Bachelor spoilers reveal that Ben will confront one of the bachelorettes about her behavior, but so far it is not yet clear whether that refers to a discussion with Jubilee that led to her elimination, or perhaps to Olivia’s behavior at the rose ceremony. Ben and his remaining nine ladies will head to the Bahamas for Episode 6 and things are really heating up. That episode will have one individual date, a group date, and the dreaded two-on-one date. By the end of the episode, Ben Higgins’ final six bachelorettes will be determined.
