Nicki Minaj Shares Cryptic Instagram Message About Ego, Dissing Meek Mill’s Feud With 50 Cent?
Nicki Minaj is no stranger to sharing inspirational quotes on social media, but are Minaj’s latest round of cryptic messages aimed at boyfriend Meek Mill?
On Thursday, Nicki Minaj took to Instagram to share four new posts about love and ego just days after Meek Mill ignited a heated social media feud with 50 Cent. While Nicki didn’t name anyone specifically in her cryptic posts, fans seem to be convinced that Minaj was dropping some not-so-subtle hints for boyfriend Meek Mill given the rapper’s recent feuds with both Drake and 50 Cent.
In her first post, Nicki Minaj shares a quote about the importance of love, captioning her cryptic Instagram message with, “searching for ppl who live by this philosophy.”
Following her philosophy on love and the fragility of life, Minaj then went on to share three consecutive messages warning against the perils of ego, including “too much EGO will KILL your TALENT,” “EGO – three letters that hold you back from sayings things your heart is dying to say, like I love you, I miss you and I am sorry,” and “The ego is like a fly buzzing around in a beautiful concert hall. You fixate on the fly and forget the concert.”

It didn’t take long for fans to weigh-in on Minaj’s cryptic Instagram posts, with the majority of fans speculating that Nicki is throwing some subtle shade at Meek Mill’s ongoing feud with 50 Cent and Drake.
However, one fan points out that it’s likely Minaj was referring to 50 Cent given the rapper’s aggressive response to Meek Mill’s “Gave ‘Em Hope” diss track that appears on Meek’s newly released 4/4 EP.
One fan writes, “Don’t be hateing [sic] on the real kings and queens of hip hop,” before tagging 50 Cent in their comment while another fan adds, “She’s talking about 50 Cent…”
While it’s unclear who Nicki Minaj was referring to in her posts, it appears that Meek Mill has since concluded his feud with 50 Cent after the rapper unleashed a series of memes aimed at Meek Mill on social media.
On Thursday, Meek Mill shared a screenshot of comedian Michael Blackson’s comments regarding Meek and 50 Cent’s social media battle, tagging 50 Cent in his post with the message, “Just stop @50cent u like 40 something doing memes and s***…I submit to your memes lol,” Hot New Hip Hop reports.
While Nicki Minaj has kept quiet regarding Meek Mill’s highly publicized beefs with 50 Cent and Wale, just to name a few, Minaj previously explained her decision to stay out of Meek Mill’s conflict with Drake given her close friendship with the Canadian rapper.
During her cover story interview with the New York Times Magazine, Nicki Minaj opened up about her feelings towards Meek and Drake’s feud by explaining, “They’re men, grown-a** men. It’s between them. I hate it. It doesn’t make me feel good. You don’t ever want to choose sides between people you love. It’s ridiculous. I just want it to be over.”
In addition, Minaj previously admitted during a joint interview with Meek Mill for GQ Magazine that she doesn’t necessarily agree with Meek Mill’s beef with Drake.
“That’s the thing people don’t understand,” Nicki Minaj began, “Meek is a grown a** man. I may not agree with everything he says,” before Meek Mill added, “She likes none of that s***. No matter who I’m talking to.”
While Drake has yet to respond to Meek Mill’s “I’m Da Plug Freestyle” diss from his 4/4 EP, it is rumored that Drake has a third track aimed at Meek Mill on his upcoming Views From The 6 album.
