Kylie Jenner & Tyga Breakup: Rapper Spotted With Another Woman, Likely Val Mercado

Kylie Jenner and Tyga just can’t seem to make it work. Just two months after they infamously split on the day of the rapper’s 26th birthday, he’s been spotted with another woman — and she looks a lot like Kylie Jenner.

According to a report by Hollywood Life on January 22, Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend was spotted with the mystery girl, who is rumored to be Val Mercado, on Thursday in Beverly Hills. The report went on to note Mercado’s similarities to Kylie Jenner, which are evident in the photos and videos she’s shared on her Instagram and Twitter accounts.

Kylie Jenner and Tyga were romantically linked to one another when she was just 16-years-old, and he was 24, but the couple didn’t take their alleged relationship public until Kylie Jenner’s 18th birthday. Prior to that, the couple often denied their romance, claiming Tyga was a friend of the family. However, after confirming they were dating, the couple began appearing together at red carpet events, and filmed scenes together for Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

For months into their relationship, following their Aug. 2015 confirmation, the couple appeared to doing well; but, in November, their relationship came to an end, and Kylie Jenner quickly announced the news on her Instagram account. Then, days later, the two were back on, and seemed to be doing well for weeks until Tyga was spotted at a Los Angeles strip club with James Harden. Now, according to reports, Kylie Jenner is distancing herself from Tyga, and focusing on her girl friends instead.

“The pair, which at one time were inseparable, have been spending less and less time together,” an insider close to Kylie Jenner and Tyga told Hollywood Life earlier this week. “They used to be together seven days a week and now she has told him to stay away! He is lucky if he gets to see her every other week.”

Prior to the couple’s November breakup, Kylie Jenner and Tyga were rumored to be living together, but afterwards, Tyga moved into his own place in the Hollywood Hills — and Kylie Jenner isn’t exactly missing their alleged live-in situation.

“[Kylie Jenner] is happy without him,” the source said, “and that infuriates Tyga.”

“[Kylie Jenner] is lucky she has such close friends,” the source added of Kylie Jenner’s best friends, Stassi Karanikolaou and Jordyn Woods. Instead of hanging with Tyga, “Kylie has been going out to lunch and shopping with her squad.”

Kylie Jenner has also been communicating less and less with her much older boyfriend, opting to instead focus on her successful career, including her lip kits, which sold out just after they were released weeks ago.

“She sends his calls to voicemail and rarely texts with him. And the decision to stay away from him is even easier for Kylie when he spends his nights at strip clubs like he did this week,” the source stated. “With the success of her lip kits and Instagram account, her empire is growing daily and she is becoming secure enough to be alone for a while.”

Although none of Kylie Jenner’s family members have commented on her potential split, or new arrangement with Tyga, they will likely be happy with the news — especially Kendall Jenner, who has openly expressed her frustration about Kylie Jenner’s dedication to her man.
