WWE News: ‘Thursday Night SmackDown’ Spoiler-Free Preview–No AJ Styles Yet
The Internet Wrestling Community is buzzing about the recent signing of AJ Styles. Along with two other Bullet Club members and Shinsuke Nakamura from NJPW, the IWC can’t wait to see the former multi-time NWA and TNA World Heavyweight Champion debut in WWE. They will have to wait a few more days, however, as AJ Styles likely won’t debut until Sunday at WWE Royal Rumble 2016. Instead, this episode of WWE Thursday Night SmackDown features WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, and the Wyatt Family, and the final build-up for the event that kicks off the Road to WrestleMania.

Just the third episode of SmackDown to air on the USA Network, the main event sees Reigns taking on all four members of the League of Nations. The New Day are in action with Dolph Ziggler and the Usos, and both competitors from this Sunday’s Intercontinental Title Match are the scheduled guests for MizTV. While this show was taped on Tuesday and the SmackDown spoilers are available, a spoiler-free preview follows for those who like to be surprised.
USA Network airs this episode of WWE SmackDown on Thursday, January 21 at 8/7c.

- Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens are scheduled for MizTV
- Bray Wyatt vs. Ryback
- 4-On-1 Handicap Match: Roman Reigns vs. The League of Nations
The official WWE.com SmackDown Five-Point Preview highlights five things to watch for tonight.
One Against The League
This match is meant to remind you of the obstacles that The Authority keep putting in front of the WWE Champion. WWE are pushing the #OneVsALL pretty hard, so you can expect to hear that phrase at least a few times throughout the broadcast. With all of the chaos from WWE RAW and the way SmackDown has ended the last two weeks, it seems unlikely that this will end pretty.

Can Uso Crazy Show Up The New Day?
This match will undoubtedly be about building “momentum” for the match on Sunday. Although their names haven’t been added to the confirmed list at WWE.com’s official Royal Rumble preview page, they all seem to be included when someone is speaking to or referencing the thirty competitors for the 30-man battle royal main event.
Who Will Be Left Standing On MizTV?
WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose and the No. 1 contender Kevin Owens will join The Miz for the “most must-see show” on television. Just like a contract signing, anytime two adversaries meet on a WWE Superstar-hosted interview segment, it never ends peacefully. This will be another part of the show that could help either of these two gain momentum for Sunday.
SmackDown Is Jericho!
Chris Jericho is scheduled for SmackDown, but as the match list above shows, Y2J won’t be in active competition. He’s spent most of his time back in WWE on the microphone, stirring up trouble with The New Day. On his way to the Royal Rumble Match, who will the self-proclaimed savior of the WWE Universe confront on Thursday Night SmackDown?
Will The Eater of Worlds Devour The Big Guy?
Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family stood tall at the end of Monday Night RAW, while Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and the League of Nations were all laid down around them. Likely to be accompanied by Braun Strowan, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan, is there any way Ryback can overcome Bray Wyatt?
