Reports are claiming that Calvin Harris is having a jealous streak these days. According to celebrity gossip blogs, the 31-year-old Scottish DJ is worried that Taylor Swift is still pining for her ex, Harry Styles.
This new rumor comes courtesy of the celebrity gossip blog, Hollywood Life . According to the report, Harris doesn’t like the mention of Styles’ name , whether in a song or in an interview. It sure doesn’t help when Swift has written most of the songs on her latest album, 1989 , about her short-lived relationship with Styles.
“Calvin has separated himself from his playboy ways and is all in with his relationship with Taylor. He doesn’t like when she mentions her exes. He wants to not talk about them, even it’s her throwing shade at them. He wants her to be totally devoted to him. He gets jealous thinking that she still may have feelings for people like Harry or others she has dated – it’s upsetting to him.”
This supposedly came after Taylor dissed her ex-boyfriend by liking a Tumblr post that slammed the 1D singer for being “immature” when it came to their relationship. Taylor was obviously dissing Harry, but Calvin still wasn’t cool with it. He doesn’t want her thinking about any of her exes.
In addition, Calvin has set his Instagram account to private. He’s reportedly tired of the “Haylor” fans who made nasty comments under his posts.
Is there any truth to this silly rumor? According to a Gossip Cop report, the entertainment outlet was told that this report is “ not true .” This recent report claims that Hollywood Life doesn’t have actual sources to back up its rumors and claims. Gossip Cop has quashed many rumors about Styles and Swift’s relationship over the years. This past summer, there were reports claiming that Swift and Styles were reuniting their romance, while a conflicting report claimed that Swift wanted to get “revenge” on her ex by showing off her relationship with Harris at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards.
But this isn’t the first time that Taylor Swift has been caught in the middle of her ex and her current boyfriend. In early November, Life & Style Magazine reported that Jake Gyllenhaal wanted to give things another try with the singer. This came shortly around the same time that the rumors claimed that Taylor was making “secret phone calls” to her musical muse.
But an alleged source spoke to both Hollywood Life and Gossip Cop about the bogus rumors. A source close to Taylor told Gossip Cop that the tabloid rumor was also “ not true ,” while another source told Hollywood Life that the singer is completely devoted to her DJ boyfriend .
“That is complete nonsense of her being in contact with Jake. She is devoted to Calvin and her career which are both going strong. She is not seeking anything from past boyfriends at all. She doesn’t talk to Jake.”
The breakup rumors aren’t going to let up anytime soon though. Something else that hasn’t helped the rumors is the fact that Swift and Harris haven’t been seen together in the past few months. The musicians made the decision to tone down their relationship on social media and in paparazzi candids. But that’s just making things look worse for Harris and Swift. An alleged insider told Naughty Gossip that their relationship is hanging by a thread.
“Taylor is planning something extravagant to ring in her 26th, including flying all of her closest friends — and Calvin Harris — down under. But he doesn’t think he can go because he is working. If he doesn’t go, then they are OVER. All her friends are calling him saying he has to go. But so far, he is insisting that he cannot because of work. Taylor will be heartbroken if he doesn’t show up.”
But Swift has denied those rumors claiming that she’s having a big birthday party. She took to Instagram to thank her crew for their hard work on her 1989 World Tour, and to say that she’s having a quiet birthday this year.
