Chris Brown Dissing Karrueche Tran? ‘Zero’ Singer Says He Doesn’t Want A ‘Public Relationship’

Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran may be fueling reunion rumors after Chris Brown publicly apologized to his ex-girlfriend during a radio interview earlier this week, but it looks like Chris Brown is putting the Karrueche dating rumors to rest while admitting that he has no interest in getting into another “public relationship.”

In order to promote his impending album, Royalty, Chris Brown sat down for several radio interviews this week to discuss what fans can expect from his highly anticipated album.

During an interview with Hot 97‘s Nessa on Monday, Chris Brown opened up about his past relationships with Karrueche Tran and Rihanna, while also dishing on whether or not he feels guilty that he’s supposedly hindered Karrueche’s ability to find work in Hollywood.

Shortly after offering his apologies to Karrueche Tran and Rihanna for his past mistakes and admitting that he wants nothing but “the best” for his exes, fans took to social media to speculate whether or not Chris Brown may reunite with either Rihanna or Karrueche in the future.

Chris Brown seemingly fueled the relationship claims on Friday after he released a surprise 34-track mixtape, titled Before The Party, which featured a collaboration with Rihanna and a track that appears to have been inspired by Chris’ past relationship with Karrueche Tran.

While it’s clear that Chris Brown is drawing of inspiration from his highly publicized split from Karrueche Tran, Chris Brown made it clear during another promotional interview conducted earlier this week that he isn’t interested in getting into another high profile romance.

Speaking to Hot 97 about his dating life, Chris Brown admits that he hasn’t dated anyone since Karrueche Tran ended their relationship in March following the news that Brown had fathered a child with another woman.

While Chris Brown may not be enjoying the single life, Chris admits that he has no interest in getting into another public relationship.

“I think for me a public relationship is only good for certain things,” Chris admits, “It’s only good for people’s approval. It’s not what I’m trying to do, I’m not going to get with a girl because society says, ‘Look how cute they look and this and this.'”

Chris went on to explain that if he were to get into another serious relationship and approach the idea of settling down with someone, he would have to be sure that whoever he was dating wouldn’t be dating him just to get famous.

“I think if I were to ever settle down and focus on a relationship with another female, she would have to…There would be certain things she would have to understand. My daughter comes first, my career comes second,” Chris Brown admits.

Chris Brown then appeared to further diss Karrueche Tran when he admits that his future girlfriend would have to “be stable and secure enough with herself” to not want to be interested in a relationship with him for the sole purpose of getting “Instagram followers.”

While Karrueche Tran maintains that Chris Brown has “hindered” her career rather than assist her in achieving fame, fans continue to berate the model by implying that she is only famous because of her association with Chris Brown.

While Chris is being praised by fans for his mature responses to inquiries about his past relationship with Karrueche Tran, Brown made headlines last week after he teased a new song via Instagram that seemed to diss Karrueche’s desire to remain in the spotlight following their breakup.

In the now-deleted Instagram video, Chris Brown can be seen mouthing along to lyrics, “I remember when we used to be in love / Now you in Hollywood, tryna get your name up / Now when I look at you all I see is a stranger.” While the track in question remains untitled, rumors suggest the song will appear on Chris Brown’s upcoming Royalty album.
