Jessa Duggar Seewald’s Siblings Star In ‘Ad’ For Fake Money As Critics Boycott ‘Jill & Jessa: Counting On’ Special

Jessa Duggar Seewald’s husband recently enlisted his sisters-in-law to help him film a video that looks an awful lot like an ad for a company selling gospel tracts. The video has some Duggar fans wondering whether Jessa and Ben are desperately trying to find ways to make cash as critics fight to keep their upcoming specials, Jill & Jessa: Counting On, from airing on TLC.

Jessa Duggar and her husband have possibly discovered one income stream: a company called Living Waters. It sells gospel tracts, including the tracts that are designed to look like money with Bible verses printed on the back. In a video that was posted on all of Ben Seewald and Jessa Duggar’s social media pages, a few of Jessa Duggar’s siblings can be seen informing their fans that Living Waters’ million dollar tracts are currently on sale. Joy Anna and Jinger Duggar do most of the talking, but Ben chimes in near the end from behind the camera.

“Now’s the time to buy your tracts at LivingWaters.com,” an enthusiastic Jinger Duggar says in the video. “They have a huge sale right now.” Joy Anna Duggar calls the fake one million dollar bills the “best tracts ever,” and Jinger throws a handful of bills at Jessa Duggar’s husband near the end of the video.

“Don’t take them to the store, though,” Ben Seewald warns his fans. “Don’t buy anything with them.”

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald shared the video on their Instagram, Facebook, and and Twitter pages. As you can see, Jennifer Duggar doesn’t look like she’s quite as enthusiastic about gospel tracts as her other family members. (UPDATE: Jessa and Ben have scrubbed the video from all of their social media pages, but a short clip from it can be seen below.)

Some of Jessa and Ben’s social media followers wondered why they were sharing a video that looked like a blatant advertisement for a company.

“Are the duggars so broke now they are resorting to s****y ads?” Leah Vininsky-Oakes wrote on Ben’s Facebook page. “This video comes off as a cheap advertisement. Can living waters not advertise themselves?”

According to the Living Waters website, the fake million dollar bills that Jessa Duggar’s siblings are so excited about are the company’s most popular tracts. The company even provides a testimonial from one recipient who claims that the almighty million dollar tract turned them from an atheist into an evangelical Christian.

“I used to be an atheist and God brought me to my knees through your million dollar tract. I went from being an atheist to being on staff at a church, and now I evangelize regularly.”

Jinger mentions that the company also sells million dollar tracts featuring celebrity likenesses, but Jessa Duggar and her famous family members aren’t among the options offered. The famous faces on the tracts include Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Scientologist Tom Cruise.

Many fans of the Duggars have wondered how Ben Seewald and Jessa Duggar plan to support themselves now that 19 Kids and Counting is no more. Ben didn’t have a job when he and Jessa decided to get married, so Jim Bob started paying Ben to do a few odd jobs for him. Jim Bob owns a real estate business, and he told People that Ben has been helping him improve his properties by laying down roofs and mowing lawns. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jessa Duggar says that she’s also been working as a member of her dad’s lawn care crew, but she and her husband don’t plan on being Jim Bob’s employees forever — according to Jessa, Ben wants to become a preacher or missionary someday. He’s so passionate about spreading the gospel that he and his wife even decided to name their son, Spurgeon Seewald, after a famous Baptist preacher.

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald will get a few checks from TLC for their upcoming trio of TV specials, Jill & Jessa: Counting On. However, as the Hollywood Gossip reports, some Duggar critics are fighting hard to keep the couple off of TV. There’s now a Facebook page called “Take the Pledge to Boycott All Discovery Channels” that encourages TV viewers not to watch any Discovery Network channels while the 90-minute Jill & Jessa: Counting On specials are on TV.

“This family minimized childhood sexual abuse showing victims they do not matter,” a post on the Facebook page reads.

Many Duggar critics believe that Jessa Duggar minimized molestation when she defended her older brother, Josh Duggar, during an appearance on The Kelly File. Josh sexually abused Jessa when he was a teenager, but Jessa insisted that what her brother did to her wasn’t so bad.

“I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist […] I’m like, that is so overboard and a lie really,” Jessa Duggar said, according to Fox News.

“In Josh’s case, he was a boy, a young boy in puberty and a little too curious about girls, and that got him into some trouble, and he made some bad choices.”

Members of the No More Duggars Facebook page have also been working to keep members of the Duggar family off of TV by contacting companies and encouraging them to pull their ads from Jill & Jessa: Counting On. According to the group’s latest update, 823 advertisers have agreed to ask TLC not to air their ads during the specials.

Hundreds of companies might not want to be associated with Jessa Duggar and her family members, but it looks like she and Ben Seewald possibly found one that’s willing to pay the Duggars to promote its products.
