It’s only been weeks since Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani revealed to the world that they are officially dating. As is the case with any new relationship, even more so when the couple involved have the combined star power of Gwen and Blake, people are eager to hear the latest updates. For some, the first few weeks can serve as a litmus test on whether a new relationship will take off, and the same may apply for Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.

Fans got answers via an exclusive video obtained by E! News early on Thursday. In said video, Blake Shelton was seen walking toward the studio . Blake, 39, was kind enough to give the camera people a friendly wave. When asked about the status of his relationship with Gwen Stefani, Blake responded with, “It’s going good.”
Admittedly, the phrase, “it’s going good,” sounded like an understatement given the PDA moments the new couple experienced on The Voice recently. Those PDA moments were pretty restrained, but they were telling enough to make viewers swoon in front of their TV screens. At one time, while introducing the coaches to the audience during the show, Gwen, 46, approached Blake for a hug. Blake Shelton did more than give his girlfriend a hug. He picked Gwen up and swung her around for a bit. Gwen looked giddy as all get out and it was nothing short of adorable.
A source close to E! News also reported that the romance between Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani might be more serious than everyone thought. Their relationship appears to be no casual fling, and fans can’t help but be happy for them both.
“Many of Gwen’s friends love how happy she has been over these past few months, and they believe she found love again.”
“The media craze just annoys her because of the way it can affect kids in situations like this, but she has been giving them unconditional love and talking to them.”
After everything that Gwen Stefani went through in her recent divorce with Gavin Rossdale, not to mention having to deal with the ugliness that comes with opening up about his relationship with ex-nanny Mindy Mann, the recent updates suggesting that Gwen and Blake are “extremely happy together” are more than welcome to her fans. The couple seems to have a firm handle on what they are about as a couple even in the face of the media buzz surrounding them. Even more impressive is how Gwen is able to keep the attention away from her kids, which is encouraging. Fans can only imagine what her kids have been through, and are still going through, in light of their parents’ divorce.
A source has also confirmed that Blake has already met Gwen’s kids and that the couple are going about it in a “very natural and healthy” way.
“It’s very likely [Gwen and Blake] will be together for some [of the holidays], but Gwen still wants to have the holidays as normal as possible because of her kids,” said the source to E! Online .
Gwen Stefani’s appearance on Ellen on Friday provides further evidence that she is hitting it off extremely well with Blake Shelton, as reported by the Daily Mail . When Ellen asked her if Shelton was a good kisser, Stefani laughed and responded, “‘Wow! You’re so awesome.” When Ellen followed it up with, “‘But you’re happy and you’re having fun?” Gwen responded, “I’m having lots of fun, yeah.”

Sources have confirmed that Gwen will be spending Thanksgiving with Blake at his home along with her boys Kingston, Zuma and Apollo.
