Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Were Too Adorable In First Appearance On ‘The Voice’ Since Confirming Romance

Much of the world’s attention became focused on Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton since the two confirmed earlier this month that they are officially dating.

And guess what, the buzz around Gwen and Blake isn’t dying any time soon, even more so that NBC’s The Voice just aired its first episode Monday night since they made their romance public. As expected, all eyes were on the new couple as they co-hosted this week’s episode of The Voice, as per usual. The reason is obvious enough: Gwen and Blake being a couple changes some of the show’s dynamic. Don’t get me wrong: they are going to keep it professional. But now part of the fun about watching the show is looking for signs of flirting bubbling up from beneath the surface.

If there was flirting involved, it started after Blake Shelton poked fun at Adam Levine at one time during the show.

“Team Gwen is whippin’ the crap out of Team Adam tonight,” Shelton said during the show. “It’s fun to see Gwen whip the crap out of Adam tonight. It makes me so happy.”

Of course, the natural response for most is to see how Gwen would react, and the “No Doubt” singer didn’t disappoint. Gwen visibly giggled and blushed after hearing the compliment from her new beau. Stefani looked so happy one would think there were daffodils floating around her. In response, Adam Levine made fun of Blake Shelton’s laugh, cutting the flirtatious moment short. Ah, typical Levine.

The flirting didn’t stop there, of course, as Shelton and Stefani would find another opportunity to indulge in minor verbal PDA.. It came after Korin Bukowski performed, when Blake made a comment about her new look.

“I think the last time you cut somebody’s hair on the show, Gwen… they won! I ended up with the person,” Shelton said, remembering the time Gwen gave Craig Wayne Boyd a makeover and helped Team Blake win Season 7.

The flirty exchange, however, was cut short yet again, thanks to Adam Levine, who found another opportunity to mimic Shelton’s chuckle.

As reported by US Weekly, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani spent some time together at the latter’s Beverly Hills house before heading to The Voice playoffs. Located at the upscale Summit Circle neighborhood, the house was previously shared by Stefani with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.

Some photos surfaced showing Shelton leaving the house in a black Escalade. After some time, Stefani exited her pad in a Range Rover. Gwen and Gavin are putting the six-bedroom mansion up for sale, having purchased it in 2007. Weeks before the two confirmed their relationship, Gwen Stefani was spotted visiting Blake’s Oklahoma home.

As reported in The Inquisitr, Gwen officially confirmed her romance with Blake in an interview Monday with radio station 103.7 KVIL, Gwen had some good words for her country singer boyfriend: “He’s a pretty rad guy, I have to say that.”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton made their first appearance as a couple at a CMA event afterparty, where they were spotted walking hand in hand. The photos surfaced just weeks after Stefani announced her divorce from Gavin Rossdale. Blake Shelton, for his part, spoke publicly about his divorce from Miranda Lambert, which was finalized in July.

Aside from the fact that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton both came off a divorce, a big part of why their romance confounded the general public so much is because it was so unexpected. Stefani made it big as a frontwoman of ska band No Doubt back in the 90’s while Blake Shelton entered the country music scene with the single “Austin” back in 2001.
