Gavin Rossdale Still Wearing His Wedding Ring Despite Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton Romance Revelation

Gavin Rossdale is still wearing his wedding ring. The Bush frontman was seen out and about in California recently with his ring still on, Us Weekly reports.

Rossdale hasn’t made any official public statements since the news broke that Gwen Stefani is now in a relationship with her co-star on The Voice, Blake Shelton. But, since he hasn’t taken his ring off yet, could that be a sign that he’s still in love with the No Doubt lead singer?

As was previously reported by the Inquisitr, Gavin has been reportedly sending Gwen Stefani flowers and other gifts in an effort to “get her back.”

“Gavin is continuing to send Gwen expensive gifts such as flowers, candy and other things to win her back, but those close to her know that he is just wasting his time because, at this point, there is no hope of a reconciliation,” an alleged source told In Touch Magazine.

Gwen Stefani seems to be too preoccupied with her new boyfriend to pay attention to any reconciliation efforts from Gavin.

She couldn’t help but gush over her Blake Shelton in an interview with 103.7 KVIL’s #Uncorked hosts Leigh Ann and Courtney, Us Weekly reports. In the interview she called Blake a “rad guy” and talked about how he supported her during the “tragedy” of her divorce from Rossdale.

“There’s been loads of people that have helped me with this tragedy,” Stefani said. “There’s definitely key people that have pointed me into the right direction. Blake really helped me. [And] not to change the subject, but it’s kinda on the same subject, Pharrell was literally like a guardian angel.”

According to Us Weekly, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani confirmed their romantic relationship this week, hours before the Country Music Awards. Shelton and Stefani were later seen holding hands at a CMA after party.

“Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating,” Stefani’s spokesperson told Us Weekly.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale got married in 2002, but they became one of the music industry’s dream couples when they first started dating in the 1990s. The singers have three children together Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 20 months.

And Gavin is allegedly questioning the timing of the Gwen Stefani Blake Shelton relationship revelation.

The Daily Mail reports that a source close to Gavin has said that he finds the two week gap between his divorce and that of Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert is “suspicious.”

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert were married for four years and divorced in July, 2015. The break up of their marriage became fodder for jokes at the 2015 Country Music Awards.

“Of course, we can’t ignore the breakup that really rocked the world,” CMA hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood quipped during their opening segment. “Two people we know and love.” Then the cameras found Kermit and Miss Piggy in the audience.

“On a completely unrelated topic,” Paisley said.”Howdy, Blake!”

Back to Gavin, the “insider source” also claims that Gwen went public with her romance with Shelton now to avoid having to pay Gavin more before their divorce was settled. If the source is to believed, Gwen was afraid that an earlier revelation would have encouraged Gavin to ask her for more money. As a previous Inquisitr article reported, Gavin accepted less than 50 percent of the couple’s assets to facilitate an easy resolution of the divorce proceedings.

For her part, Gwen Stefani has gone on record to admit that the last years of marriage between her and Rossdale were difficult in an interview with In Style Magazine. A lot of their issues, she said, revolved around balancing work commitments and raising three children.

“I didn’t tour at all. But I did record the No Doubt album, which was super hard. I was torn the whole time,” Stefani said. “Every day I would take the kids to school, drive to Santa Monica, work on the album, and then I’d think, Oh my god, if I don’t leave by 2:30, I’m not gonna get home in time for dinner.”
