‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Season 11: Kris Jenner Attempts To Have Lamar Odom Sign Contract?

Could Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 11 include Lamar Odom? Although the season is scheduled to begin later this month, there is reportedly more footage needed, and if Kris Jenner has it her way, the ailing husband of her daughter, Khloe, may be seen.

Last month, after spending days partying at a legal brothel in Pahrump, Nevada, Odom was hospitalized in Las Vegas, where he remained in a coma for days, with many of his organs failing, before waking up the following Friday and beginning to communicate with doctors. Although Odom continues to make positive progress in the hospital, his medical battle is far from over, and will likely take several months of therapy.

Still, however, his mother-in-law, Jenner, is reportedly hoping to cash in on Odom, despite his ongoing troubles, and Odom’s wife, Khloe, is said to be furious after learning Jenner attempted to have him sign onto Keeping Up With The Kardashians while in the hospital.

“Khloe confronted Kris after she found out that her mother tried to get Lamar to sign the contract in order to be able to use the footage that has been shot for next season’s [Keeping Up With The Kardashians],” a source told Radar Online on November 3. “Kris knows that that having this be a huge part of Season 11 would be great for ratings because viewers will definitely tune in.”

Since Odom fell ill last month, his ongoing recovery has been a hot topic for the media, and has been consistently discussed on new shows and online. But while Jenner may be right about the interest in Odom’s recovery, Khloe doesn’t feel he should be featured on Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 11.

“Khloe thinks that Kris is being completely irrational about this,” the source told Radar. “She told Kris that Lamar is not a part of [Keeping Up With The Kardashians] any more and neither she, nor him, will make money off of this. But in the end, Kris knows that she is going to win this fight because she calls the shots.”

In addition to her reported attempt to have Odom sign a contract for Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 11, Jenner is said to also be hoping that she will be in charge of Odom’s post-coma career.

During a recent interview with Yahoo!, via TooFab, Kardashian spoke out about her desire to keep Odom’s medical crisis away from the prying eye of the public, and possibly from Keeping Up With The Kardashians cameras.

“If you look at my past with him, I’ve always been more private,” Kardashian explained to the site. “So for me, keeping this private is a big deal. I’ve seen a lot of people talk about it, and I think they shouldn’t; you shouldn’t talk about a medical situation unless you’re around it.”

“There is so much more medically and emotionally that we have to go through in order to even think about anything romantically. This is a very serious situation with a lot of layers. He has a long road ahead of him, and I will be there by his side. I will always love him unconditionally. That will never waver coming from me.”

For more of Kris Jenner, as well as the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner family, tune into Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 11 when the show premieres on the E! Network on Sunday, November 15, at 9 p.m.
