Watch Royals Vs. Mets World Series Game 3 Live Online: Streaming Link, Series Hits New York
The 2015 World Series moves to New York City Friday. Fans who like fastball pitchers will definitely want to watch the two who will square off for the Kansas City Royals and New York Mets as a live online stream of the Major League Baseball Fall Classic originates from Citi Field for the first time when the Mets and Royals face off in Game 3.
Down two games to none after Tuesday’s 14-inning Game One thriller, then a 7-1 spanking on Wednesday in Kansas City, the Mets must win at least two of their three home games to send the World Series back to Kansas City for a Game 6 — and, of course, would prefer to win all three.
The Game 3 matchup spotlights two of the hardest-throwing starting pitchers in Major League Baseball. The Royals 24-year-old Yordano Ventura averaged 96.8 miles per hour on his fastball this year, with his fastest pitch clocked at 100.6 mph.
Mets 23-year-old rookie Noah “Thor” Syndergaard was slightly faster, averaging 97.4 on his four-seam fastball with a top speed clocked at an eye-popping 101.4 mph.

Ventura was signed by the Royals out of the Dominican Republic at age 17 in 2008, and when he takes the mound Friday, it will mark the first time any team has started three Dominican pitchers in a single World Series. For that matter, Ventura’s start will also mark the first time any team has started three pitchers from anywhere outside of the United States in a World Series.
Syndergaard, despite his Nordic name — and nickname — hails from Mansfield, Texas. He was picked in the first round of the 2010 draft by the Toronto Blue Jays, who dealt him to the Mets two years later in the deal that brought R.A. Dickey to Toronto.
To find out how to watch World Series Game 3, Kansas City Royals vs. New York Mets, live online, see the streaming link in the final paragraph of this article. Expect a low-scoring game, as the anticipated chilly fall New York weather — expected to drop into the 40-degree range as the game progresses — should give the two fireballing hurlers a distinct advantage.
No city has hosted more World Series games than New York, though Friday’s World Series game will be the first played in New York City since 2009. No World Series game has ever been played at the Mets new ballpark, which coincidentally opened the same year.
With four big league teams playing in the city over the years — the New York Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers departed New York in 1957 — the Big Apple has hosted 191 World Series games before Friday. The next four cities on the list — St. Louis, Boston, Chicago, and Philadelphia — have hosted 188 World Series games combined.
After suffering losses behind their two top starters, Matt Harvey and Jacob deGrom in Games 1 and 2, what do the Mets need to do to keep the relentless Kansas City bats under wraps this time?
According to former Mets star hurler Bob Ojeda, who started two games for the Mets the last time they won the World Series, in 1986 — including the infamous Game 6, which featured a historic error by Boston Red Sox first baseman Bill Buckner, allowing the Mets an improbable, extra-inning victory — Syndergaard needs to rely on his best pitch, the fastball.
“I’m watching two outstanding Mets pitchers pitch to a scouting report rather than be who they are,” Ojeda said in an interview with The New York Daily News. “It’s been pretty frustrating to watch. I love scouting reports but I am not going to go away from who I am because of them. Especially those guys, with the fastballs they have, they should make the Royals prove they can hit it before they go to Plan B.”
Will the New York Mets stick to Plan A and claw back into the 2015 World Series with a victory in Game 3? Or will the Kansas City Royals all but wrap up the series by going up three games to none, a lead that no team has ever given up in a World Series?
