Are Kourtney Kardashian & Khloe Kardashian Quitting ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’?
Are Kourtney Kardashian and her younger sister, Khloe, planning on quitting Keeping Up With The Kardashians after the show’s upcoming 11th season? According to a new report, the two women have grown sick of having their lives documented on the show and its spinoffs, including Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami and Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons, and are ready to move on after eight years on the E! Network.

In the new report, a source claims Kourtney Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, has began to focus on the show’s future more than their own lives, and hoped to soon expose her daughters’ most personal situations on the show. For Kourtney Kardashian, that meant having to share her relationship troubles and Scott Disick’s rehab stint with fans, while Khloe would be expected to open up about her husband Lamar Odom’s current health crisis.
“It was all about making good TV. Now Khloe and [Kourtney Kardashian] have finally realized what the show did to them — and they want out,” a source told In Touch Weekly magazine, according to a Hollywood Life report on October 28.
In addition to Jenner expecting Kourtney Kardashian to reveal her drama with Disick on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the source said she had also suggested Khloe remarry her estranged husband, Odom, on the show. In tears, Khloe reportedly yelled, “We quit,” at Jenner, and Kourtney Kardashian was said to have joined her in walking out.
“They think the show ruined Scott’s and Lamar’s lives — that they were sucked into the Kardashian machine and used to boost ratings, chewed up and spit out. Khloe accused Kris of being insensitive….[Kourtney Kardashian] then told Kris that their men might not be in this position if their personal problems weren’t used for story lines for the whole world to see.”
Speaking to In Touch Weekly regarding the possibility of both Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe quitting the series, media expert David Johnson, CEO of Strategic Vision LLC, told the magazine that the sister’s possible exit from Keeping Up With The Kardashians would come as a “serious blow to the show,” and likely lead to millions in lost earnings for the entire Kardashian family and their brands.

Earlier this year, Page Six reported news of the Kardashian family’s newest contract, which was worth a reported $100 million, and would allegedly keep Kourtney Kardashian and her sisters on the air for another four years. The deal, which was reportedly secured by the family’s manager, Kris Jenner, was to include Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, but not Caitlyn Jenner, who left the series earlier this year after announcing plans to become a woman.
In addition to covering at least four more seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Page Six revealed it would also include new seasons of the series’ spinoffs, which have included Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons, and possibly, a Kardashian YouTube channel.
“There will be further opportunities for the sisters under the new package,” the report continued, “Khloé has been hosting red carpet coverage as well as post-Oscar and Grammy specials for E! Kim is also expected to produce her own future shows.”
Kourtney Kardashian has yet to comment on news of her possible exit.
