WWE News: Spoiler-Free ‘NXT’ Preview For October 28, 2015 [Samoa Joe Vs. Tyler Breeze — Finn Balor]

Below is a spoiler-free match-by-match preview for this week’s episode of WWE NXT, airing Wednesday night, October 28.

If you check WWE.com for their official preview for tonight’s NXT, the only match you’d know about is Samoa Joe vs. Tyler Breeze. Luckily, as noted by PWMania, we already know that there are five matches scheduled. Below is the spoiler-free NXT line-up for tonight.

• Emma vs. Shazza McKenzie — Ever since she debuted on NXT, Asuka has run into problems with Dana Brooke and Emma. Her partnership with Brooke has led to some drastic changes in attitude from Emma over the past few months. Two weeks ago, at NXT TakeOver: Respect, Asuka defeated Dana Brooke and then confronted both Dana and Emma backstage. The eerie smile that Asuka gave Emma left her feeling uncomfortable, to say the least. One has to assume the drama will continue after — if not during — Emma’s match with newcomer Shazza McKenzie.

• Chad Gable and Jason Jordan vs. Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano — The only tag team match of the night pits two up-and-coming teams against one another. On the one hand, you have Gable and Jordan, who have really started to gel after Jordan reluctantly gave in to Gable’s request to team up. Ciampa and Gargano are both “internet darlings” who are trying to prove they belong on the hottest roster in the industry for young talent. Will being “Ready, Willing and Gable” be enough for Chad and Jason? Can Tommaso and Johnny work together and prove they deserve to perform at Full Sail Arena?
• Nia Jax vs. Kay Lee Ray — Unlike Kay Lee Ray, Nia Jax was given plenty of promotion before debuting on NXT. The internet was well aware that she came from a family of wrestling royalty (you may have heard of her cousin, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson). And when she finally debuted in the ring, the WWE Universe realized that she was not like any other female on the NXT or WWE roster. At six feet tall and 255 pounds, she’s a physical threat to every woman in the locker room. Does virtual unknown Kay Lee stand a chance?

• Samoa Joe vs. Tyler Breeze — When word got out that former TNA Wrestling star Samoa Joe was headed to WWE, it raised a lot of questions. When he debuted on WWE NXT, many assumed his reputation would send him straight to the NXT Championship. When it was announced that there would be a battle royal on last week’s episode of NXT, Samoa Joe was an obvious favorite. Unfortunately for Joe, Tyler Breeze bent the rules and eliminated Joe from the competition. Although Tyler Breeze has since debuted on WWE’s main roster, appearing on both Raw and SmackDown, he still has unfinished business with Samoa Joe. With Breeze leaving NXT soon, will he be focused enough to defeat “The Samoan Suplex Machine” tonight?

• Finn Balor (NXT Champion) vs. Tye Dillinger (non-title match) — NXT Champion Finn Balor has been on quite a roll. Ever since winning the title in July, no one has been able to get the belt away from him. Then, earlier this month, Balor and Samoa Joe were crowned the winners of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament after successfully defeating four other NXT tag teams. Will Tye Dillinger be able to make a name for himself in a one-on-one match with the champ? Can Finn Balor expect to hear from the recently named No. 1 contender, Apollo Crews?
