Lamar Odom Update: Khloe Kardashian Unleashes Twitter Rant On Critical Fans, Cancels Book Tour
Lamar Odom’s wife, Khloe Kardashian, faced major backlash on October 28 due to what appeared to be a recent interview with People Magazine about her husband. However, according to the reality star, her interview with the magazine was a contractual obligation, which took place before Odom’s hospitalization on October 13.

After telling all about Lamar Odom, Rob Kardashian, and James Harden, Kardashian was slammed by fans who dissed her for making a profit on her husband’s tragic medical crisis. In response, Lamar Odom’s wife let loose on Twitter, where she shared a number of tweets with her critical followers online.
“I want to make this VERY clear…. My people cover, I shot and interviewed for PRIOR to all the events that happened,” Kardashian wrote on October 28. “It was contracted press for my book that I wrote months and months ago. Timing is what it is. Shame on you all for thinking the worst of me. It’s been a tough few weeks. I don’t need your f***ed up energy! Know the facts before you throw stones.”
Since Lamar Odom was hospitalized earlier this month, Kardashian has remained at his bedside. On October 13, immediately after hearing news of Lamar Odom being found unconscious, Kardashian boarded a private jet to Las Vegas, where Odom was receiving care after an alleged overdose and multiple strokes. She then flew with him in a medical helicopter to Los Angeles, where he was taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medial Center for additional care.
In addition to missing a number of events due to Lamar Odom’s hospitalization, Kardashian has also cancelled her upcoming book tour for her new release, Strong Looks Better Naked, which hits stores next month.
“I had to do a follow up 5 minute phoner after the events only because I was contracted to,” Kardashian added. “I cancelled my book tour to avoid this attention.”

During her interview with People Magazine, via Entertainment Weekly, Kardashian spoke of Lamar Odom’s condition, claiming that when he woke up from his coma, it was “a sigh of relief for everybody.”
“Every hour is different. It goes up and it goes down but [Lamar Odom]’s awake. He’s alive and that’s all I wanted, was for him to be okay.”
Lamar Odom regained consciousness a few days after he was hospitalized in Las Vegas, but since then, rumors have been swirling regarding his time at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch South. According to the man behind Lamar Odom’s 911 call, the former professional athlete, who has struggled with substance abuse for many years, was believed to have used cocaine and sexual enhancement supplements during his time with the women.

“There is a very long road ahead of [Lamar Odom]. He has to walk that road by himself, and, most importantly, he has to want to walk that road. I will be there supporting him every step of the way,” Kardashian added.
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom parted ways in 2013, following a number of allegations against Odom, including drug use and multiple affairs, and later that year, Kardashian filed for divorce. However, due to the couple’s failure to complete the necessary paperwork until this past summer, their divorce was never made official, leaving Kardashian in charge of all of Lamar Odom’s medical decisions.
Then, earlier this month, Kardashian and Lamar Odom requested their divorce be dismissed.
