Holly Burt: 6-Foot-5 Girl With 49.5-Inch Legs Set To Snatch Record Of Longest Legs In U.S. From Texan Model Lauren Williams

Holly Burt was teased and bullied when she was in middle school in Florida for being taller than everyone else. Her classmates called her “daddy long legs” and “giraffe.” But now at 20, after moving to New York, she is set to take advantage of her physical assets to launch a modeling career and enter the record books as the woman with the longest legs in the U.S. and possibly also in the world.

The leggy 6-foot-5 student, with 49.5-inch pair of legs, hopes to win the title of the longest legs in the U.S. from Texas model Lauren Williams, with 49-inch legs.

Although, Burt was teased by classmates at school and called “daddy long legs,” the design student from Florida says that since she left school and moved to New York two years ago, she has found that more people appreciate her exceptionally long limbs.

Holly says that men, in particular, love her figure and that she has met a lot of men “who have a fetish for long legs.”

She has found that now that she is older her long legs have stopped being an embarrassment but an asset.

“Back in middle school I was called daddy long legs, tree or giraffe – but the dating scene has gotten better since I moved to New York,” Holly Burt told Barcroft TV. “I definitely have seen guys come up to me who have a fetish for long legs. When people see me in heels their jaws hit the floor.”

“I was called daddy long legs, tree or giraffe. Kind of, like, the ordinary tall things.”

“I have a rule that I won’t date anyone under 6ft 3in,” she added, “and fortunately New York is full of tall, hot men.”

Holly is so keen on hooking up with a man who matches her in height that when she meets a taller man she would go to him and try to chat him up.

“My legs are definitely an asset now, being older I feel like people appreciate them more.”

Holly comes from a family of “daddy long legs.” Her mom is 6 feet 1 inch, her dad 6 feet 3 inches, her sister is 6 feet, her grandpa was 6 feet 8 inches, and her uncle 6 feet 7 inches.

She first became conscious of her unusual height during her 2nd grade when she realized she was taller than her teacher. And although she was teased a lot about her height at school she enjoyed some advantages. For instance, her great height gave her advantage in sports. She was always one of the first to be picked for sports and she played soccer and basketball for years at school being favored by coaches because of her height.

Burt also found that her close friends appreciated her height because she could help them reach things in high places.

“I was always picked first for sports – I played soccer for ten years and basketball for seven or eight – I was included because I was so tall,” Holly said. “I also used to help my friends get stuff from high places a lot.”

But like most other people who are outsiders in terms of their physical dimensions, Holly has trouble finding clothes that fit her. She also has a lot of issues with fitting her legs into cars and planes.

The young woman with an inseam of 38 inches recalls an uncomfortable trip she had with her ex-boyfriend who used a Mini Cooper. She described the trip to Florida in a Mini Cooper as “probably the worst ride of my life.”

Although, the 20-year-old plans to focus first on her college studies, she plans to go into modeling once she graduates from college. She believes that her long legs would be a great asset for her as a model.

“I love the attention that I get,” Holly Burt told Barcroft TV. “I’ve been tall all my life and sometimes I was picked on. So now it’s like I’m being recognized for something good.”
