‘Battlefield Hardline’ Coming Free To Xbox One Via EA Access Vault

Haven’t touched Battlefield Hardline on your Xbox One yet? EA and Xbox are bringing good news for you. Gamespot confirmed that Battlefield Hardline is coming to Xbox One consoles this October as part of the lineup of free Xbox One games via the EA Access Vault.

First spotted by Reddit, a page for Battlefield Hardline has already popped up inside the EA Access app on Xbox One. Reddit user MovingTarget3 took screencaps of the EA Access app on Xbox One, showing an advertisement that Battlefield Hardline is coming free to Xbox One users via the EA Access subscription. The advertisement read “Coming Soon to the Vault,” which means EA has not yet released a final release date for Battle Hardline, but certainly this will be in by the time October rolls in.

Like all other games available in the EA Access Vault, Battlefield Hardline will be free to play in Xbox One with no limitations whatsoever as long as the Xbox One user has an active EA Access subscription. For as low as $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year, Xbox One players can avail of the EA Access subscription to access free games such as Battlefield Hardline, among other perks. Some of the benefits of signing up for the EA Access membership on Xbox One is an across-the-board 10 percent discount on all EA digital content and the chance to play upcoming EA titles five days earlier than everyone else. With the long list of EA titles available for free on the Xbox One via the EA Access subscription, their low membership price is actually quite a steal.

Aside from Battlefield Hardline, which is soon to become free to Xbox One users, here are other EA titles that subscribers could already access on their Xbox One provided they keep an active EA Access subscription.

Battlefield 4
Dragon Age: Inquisition
EA Sports UFC
FIFA 14
FIFA 15
Madden NFL 15
Madden NFL 25
NBA Live 15
Need for Speed: Rivals
NHL 15
Peggle 2
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
Titanfall

EA Access has not released any news regarding any of these titles expiring soon, so those who are considering an EA Access subscription on their Xbox One are in for a treat since they will have access to all these games and more in the next few months. Just recently, EA Access subscribers were able to try their hand on FIFA 16 ahead of everyone else.

Thus far, EA Access is only available on Xbox One. PlayStation 4 has voiced that they are open to having the same arrangement with EA, but there has been no news about EA Access coming to PlayStation 4. EA Access coming to PC via EA Origin also came up in recent talks, but there’s currently no news about that arrangement.

Battlefield Hardline is a first-person shooter by Electronic Arts (EA), which released on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC on March 17, 2015.
