Public Sex Between Two Michigan Men Leads Police To Child Pornography Bust

Two men, 63-year-old Jeffrey Belden and 77-year-old Donald Williams, were captured on video by a neighbor as they performed various sex acts on their lawn. The horrified neighbor saw the sex acts taking place within view of area traffic, and captured the ordeal on a cell phone camera to show police. While investigating the strange public sex between the men, police uncovered 145 photos of child pornography in the home of Williams.

KTUL reports that the two men, Jeffrey Belden and Donald Williams, were filmed having sex in the front lawn of the Coldwater, Michigan, home, within full view of traffic. After the video of the incident was given to police, the pair were arrested on charges of indecent exposure. However, while investigating the men further, police uncovered 145 images of child pornography in Williams’ home and have since charged him with five counts of using a computer to commit a crime and five counts of possessing child pornography.

According to Up North Live, neighbors were speaking out about the incident, with some noting that they now fear for their grandchildren’s safety in the neighborhood they previously thought was safe. One neighbor, Pam Miller, lives across the street from the home where the public sex encounter took place. She says she didn’t know the men — however, she is still shocked.

“Shocked. I mean nowadays nothing seems to shock me, but in a small neighborhood, yeah, surprised.”

She says that the men’s actions were within full view of traffic and that children could have witnessed the acts.

“That’s uh, yeah, there’s too many kids out here. It’s public, it’s a nice neighborhood. It makes me feel like I’m scared to have my grandkids here, and I worry about their safety.”

Fortunately for those in the small neighborhood, Williams behind bars on charges of indecent exposure and for the pornographic images found on his computer of children. Police noted that the images contained photos of young boys in various stages of undress — some of the boys being as young as 7-years-old. Meanwhile, the other sexual culprit, Jeffrey Belden, is currently out of jail on bond.

Williams is scheduled back to court in September to answer to the charges of child pornography.
