T.R. Dues has finally broken his silence. After months of reports regarding his alleged romance with Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer, T.R. Dues participated in his first interview, and during it, he alleged he and Messer were not currently an item — and had never been one.
Messer “has a lot going on,” T.R. Dues told Teen Mom Junkies on August 25, adding that while Messer did have drama with his son’s mother , they have since settled their differences and are all getting along.
News of Messer’s rumored romance with T.R. Dues first hit the web earlier this year, around the time Messer’s divorce from her second husband, Jeremy Calvert, was finalized. However, the two have only been seen together in one photo, and Messer has never mentioned T.R. Dues on social media, aside from two tweets promoting his business.
But while Messer and T.R. Dues stayed mum on their relationship, whatever it may have been, multiple reports have surfaced regarding the two’s reported romance. In fact, not long ago, a Radar Online source claimed Messer and T.R. Dues had moved in together with their five total kids (Messer has three daughters and T.R. Dues has two sons).
As the Inquisitr previously reported, it was alleged by a source that Messer and T.R. Dues had moved in together just one week into their relationship. According to a Radar Online source, Messer’s second ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, was allegedly upset when he discovered she and T.R. Dues were living together.
“[T.R. Dues] moved in with Leah and her parents after just a week of dating … Leah initially denied the relationship, saying that they’re not official, but then confessed that something’s going on.”
A short while later, a second Radar Online report surfaced, claiming T.R. Dues’ son’s mother, Mandy Winnell, was unhappy about her children living with Messer , and didn’t want her with the reality star without someone supervising them.
“Leah and [T.R. Dues] just moved into a new house, and decided to start keeping the boys over all the time— even though technically Mandy has full custody. Mandy has tried playing nice, but they are walking all over her. Mandy isn’t at all okay with Leah watching her sons without [T.R. Dues] present. The whole situation is a mess!”
No word yet on whether or not T.R. Dues will appear alongside Messer on the upcoming episodes of Teen Mom 2 season 6.
