Selena Gomez ‘Loves’ Zayn Malik, Wants Him To ‘Reach Out’ To Her Sometime
Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik shippers are going to be very happy over this news. It’s been previously reported that the former One Direction star is following the former Disney star on Twitter. Now in a new interview with radio station Key 3, Sel admitted that she “loves” Zayn Malik.
But it’s not what you think! This is strictly business. During her interview, Gomez revealed that she already knows Malik. The “Good For You” singer admitted that she’s open to working with him in the future. Only if he’s willing to, of course.
“I know Zayn so it’s almost like if he would ever want to reach out, he knows that he could. So I don’t know what he’s doing creatively.”
Selena also revealed that she’s a huge fan of Zayn Malik. This news will send Selena and Zayn shippers into overdrive!
“I think that’s so exciting for him to go and figure out what he wants to do, but I don’t know what that is. I think it’ll be pretty exciting but, yes, I love him, he’s awesome.”
Zayn started following Selena on the social networking site a week ago, according to a report via Hello Magazine. The singer and actress admitted that she didn’t even know that the good-looking Brit was following her.
“I had no idea what that was until somebody else asked me. Obviously I know Zayn though, so it’s not like a weird thing. I just didn’t know who followed me.”
The heartthrob was also caught liking a photo of Kylie Jenner and following her older sister, Khloe Kardashian. Malik also followed started following former Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev and Disney actress Zendaya, leading more speculation and rumors about his love life since ending his engagement with Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards.
It should be known that Zayn Malik also dissed Gomez’s best friend, Taylor Swift, on the same day she revealed that she “loved” him. That’s making some fans wonder if she just started a feud with her own BFF.
As previously reported via the Inquisitr, Malik’s feud with Swift started when the singer retweeted a post about Swift’s decision to pull her music catalog from Spotify. Harris defended Swift’s honor by telling the dark-haired cutie to “stay out of things you don’t understand.”
It’s likely that Selena wasn’t aware of the feud taking place during the radio interview, though. It seems like Taylor is unfazed by what Gomez said about Malik, as well. Hollywood Life reported that she ignored the Twitter drama by voting for Selena Gomez in the MTV VMAs “Song of the Summer” category.
Swift is already leading in the VMA nominations, but she’s spreading the good vibes by voting for her friends. The singer-songwriter just casted her vote for Gomez’s hit single, “Good For You,” according to her tweet on Tuesday, August 18.
