Octomom House Sale Delayed Again

Octomom House Sale Delayed Again — Nadya Suleman – a.k.a ‘Octomom‘ – filed for bankruptcy last month, and her Orange County home was due to go up for sale at auction on Monday. However, the sale has now been delayed for the second time at the request of the foreclosure company, with the new auction date set for May 21.

Whether that means Suleman (and her 14 children) can stay in the four-bedroom, three-bathroom house isn’t yet known, but as the reality TV star has decided to take the porn route to bring in some much-needed cash, money and a roof might no longer be a problem in the short-term.

Suleman herself is scheduled for a hearing regarding her bankruptcy in Santa Ana’s federal courthouse next month.

Amer Haddadin is the (soon-to-be former) owner of Suleman’s home. Haddadin bought the house and let Suleman reside there in return for monthly rent payments, which Suleman reportedly failed to keep up with. Haddadin told reporters that he was disappointed the house remained unsold.

He also added that he regretted selling Suleman the home in the first place; the mother-of-fourteen holds the deeds to the property, but Haddadin is ultimately responsible for the payments in their unusual arrangement. He told The Orange County Register:

“She screwed up my credit. They do not deserve it, these people. I helped them as much as I could. I feel sorry for the kids, but Nadya doesn’t deserve it (the house).”

The property is set to return to the auction block at Orange City Hall on May 21.
