Ed Sheeran and pussycat doll Nicole Scherzinger are apparently in the early stages of dating, several sources report.
Ed and Nicole have been friends for quite a while, but things got more than friendly when Nicole became single. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Nicole broke up with Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton , who she has been with on and off since 2007.
Ed Sheeran and Nicole have been spotted in Suffolk, Ed’s hometown, on many occasions. Reportedly, it was Sheeran’s songs that brought the two closer together. The Daily Mail reports that Scherzinger found comfort in Ed Sheeran’s songs after her breakup with Hamilton. The friendship grew from there, and now they are rumored to be dating. An insider dished on the relationship.
“She was drawn to him over the last few months through his music. When she split from Lewis, she was heartbroken but ended up playing Ed’s songs on a loop.”
The fact that Nicole dedicated a song to Ed may also be a hint of the blossoming romance between the two. While performing in Hollywood on July 27, Nicole dedicated the song “Don’t Cha” to Ed, saying, “This one’s for you, Ed!” On the other hand, as reported by Now Magazine , Ed has in turn written some lyrics dedicated to Nicole.

There is no official confirmation from either Ed Sheeran or Nicole Scherzinger, but their close friends confirm that they are dating.
One of Ed Sheeran’s close friends told the Sun that “as far as he’s concerned they were in the early stages of dating and he’s been open about it with close friends and colleagues. It may not develop beyond those dates but they’re definitely tight.”
A friend from Nicole’s camp also confirmed it by saying that Nicole is “extremely close” with Ed and that Nicole says “he is the male version of her.”
As said before, Nicole split from her boyfriend early this year, while Ed Sheeran ended his relationship with Athina Andrelos in March.
While Ed Sheeran’s representative denied the dating rumors, Nicole Scherzinger’s reps did not provide information when asked for comments about the relationship.
