Young Thug Announces Headlining Tour, Despite Legal Problems

Despite the plethora of legal problems that Young Thug is facing, which includes assault on a mall security guard while out shopping with his entourage, allegedly telling the guard that he was going to shoot him, and the attempted murder of Lil Wayne, Young Thug is out on bond and has announced he will be launching his first headlining tour this fall, according to Uproxx. In fact, when he was bailed out of jail last month, one of the conditions of his release was that he would be allowed to leave the state and country to go on tour. At the time, Thug had mostly festival dates on his schedule but since then, Thug and his label, 300 Entertainment, announced the Hy!£UN35 tour.

The tour is scheduled to begin in New York on September 18, and Thug and his tour mate, Tory Lanez, will navigate the country for over 30 shows running through November, 2015. This will be Thug’s first headlining tour after opening up for Travi$ Scott on the Rodeo Tour earlier this year and after splitting the Rich Gang Lifestyle Tour with Rich Homie Quan and Birdman in late 2014.

While nobody disputes that the rapper’s wild ways lands him in some serious trouble, it also lands him scores of fans, as previously reported by the Inquisitr. In fact, his sexual orientation has been called into question as a result of some of his tweets then professes his love for men, although it is not certain if those love professions are romantic or platonic. He is also considered very fashionable by some with his skirts and nail polish. Regardless of his eccentric fashion, many are enraptured by the fact that he truly seems not to care what others say or think of him.

Tickets went on sale on August 7, and while he begins in September in New York, he will wrap up his tour in Maryland in November. As of this writing, no court date has been set for either of the legal charges pending against him, so it is unknown if any of the dates will need to be rescheduled or cancelled. Young Thug could be looking at some hard time if convicted of any of the charges against him. Despite that fact, his past behavior would suggest that fans can expect nothing short of a wild show with many of his iconic fashion statements and controversial music.
