‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 12 Spoilers: What Fans Want To See
Grey’s Anatomy fans have been through the ringer over the past couple of years. Not only have they had to endure Dr. Cristina Young leaving Seattle and Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital for bigger and better things, but they were forced to watch Dr. Derek Shepherd die before their eyes.
With Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 returning in September, there are some dream scenarios that fans would absolutely love to see such as Meredith Grey moving on from the death of her husband, Derek, TV Line reports.
Of course, many fans are expecting Meredith to get a new love interest in the near future, but some believe she should really focus on herself, her children, and her awesome career as one of the best surgeons at Grey Sloan Memorial.
Meanwhile, Meredith can develop a more meaningful relationship with her sister-in-law Amelia and continue to guide her friends such as Alex and half-sister Maggie.
Another big story line that Grey’s Anatomy viewers are dying to see is the possible return of Cristina Yang. As Meredith’s best friend Cristina would be able to help her through the dark days of her life, and since actress Sandra Oh left the show on good terms it’s possible that Cristina could eventually make a visit, right?
Die hard fans also want to see Callie and Arizona move on. If the former spouses can’t get back together and stay together for good then we’d like to see them move on with other partners. They’ve been too unhappy for too long.
Speaking of couples, Alex and Jo have kept us waiting long enough. Either the couple should split or get engaged because Alex has been waiting far too long to put a ring on it.
The IB Times reports that the first episode of Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 will be titled “Sledgehammer” and will feature a new character named Ben played by former Secrets and Lies actor Martin Henderson.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, there are some serious rumors circulating that this could be actress Ellen Pompeo’s last season on the hit ABC series.
Rumors are flying that the character of Meredith Grey could fall ill from Alzheimer’s Disease, the same disease that claimed the life of her mother, Ellis Grey, or that she could also be killed off.
Fans are hoping this is all just speculation and that Meredith Grey isn’t going anywhere. However, now that Grey’s Anatomy is in Season 12, the show could be cancelled at any time as it’s be on the air for so long.
