Chelsea Handler may be one of the more vocal “bad girls” in Hollywood, but the comedienne is also (it would seem) a very loyal friend.
Chelsea Handler is besties with fellow Hollywood A-lister Jennifer Aniston (enough said?), who famously split with former spouse Brad Pitt when he and Jolie were filming Mr. And Mrs. Smith in 2004. Years later, Jolie admitted that she moved on Pitt before his marriage to Aniston was officially over- which, in the sorority, is kind of considered a dick move.
In an interview, Jolie told the New York Times that- in reference to her kids watching the film, “not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love.” It kind of wrecked all the plausible deniability the couple worked to build surrounding their relationship, and cemented years of whispers that Angelina Jolie had “stolen” Pitt from Aniston.
Chelsea Handler isn’t about to let Jolie off the hook for her man-poaching ways, and in a recent interview with More magazine, Handler was asked who she thought was a good example of a woman that’s not a “girl’s girl,” essentially one that does not have your back.
Handler didn’t mince words, fingering Jolie as an example of a poor friend and not trustworthy:
“Probably Angelina Jolie… She doesn’t strike me as someone I would have a close friendship with. You just know as a woman, when you see another woman, if that’s a woman you can trust.”
It wasn’t the first time Handler went off on Jolie, and in the very NSFW clip below, Chelsea calls the future Mrs. Pitt a “homewrecker.”
Chelsea also confirmed in the new interview that she’d rekindled her relationship with boyfriend André Balazs, citing difficulties managing a long-distance relationship for their initial breakup.
