Watch ‘Batman V Superman’ Star Ben Affleck Say ‘I’m Batman’ For The First Time, New Trailer To Premiere At Comic-Con 2015?

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice might still be a good year away from its official release, but that doesn’t mean fans aren’t eager to get a glimpse at how Ben Affleck will portray one of the most iconic heroes of all time. That being said, a recent video posted to Instagram provides one of those glimpses and shows just what Affleck might sound like in the upcoming film.

The video was posted by Seth Lee on his social media account, and shows him and Affleck saying the famous phrase, “I’m Batman.” The two are currently working on the upcoming movie, The Accountant, and the video appears to be taken while the two are messing around off-set. Affleck says the line twice, which gives an idea as to what he might sound like as Batman in the upcoming movie.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice features Batman as he takes his vigilante justice to Superman, whose god-like powers have gone unchecked. While Batman and Superman fight each other and the rest of the world tries to decide which superhero they want, a different danger arises and threatens to destroy mankind.

While fans eagerly await the arrival of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Warner Bros. has announced that it is planning on making 10 DC films between 2016 and 2020. While this is great news to any and all DC Comics fans, a standalone Batman movie hasn’t been officially included in that list.

However, there are reports that the company is planning on producing a Batman film to premiere in the fall of 2018. Of course, Affleck will most likely be playing the role of Batman, but, according to Tech Times, he might also direct the film.

The movie, which is tentatively titled The Batman, will reportedly see Affleck team up with Chris Terrio to produce the screenplay. Terrio and Affleck worked together on the award-winning movie Argo, so the pair teaming up for another movie wouldn’t be out of the ordinary.

Additionally, Terrio has some experience to draw from when it comes to writing scripts for superhero movies. The writer is slated to write for both of the new Justice League films, to go along with his work on the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Ben Affleck is also set to make an appearance as the Caped Crusader in Suicide Squad, which is also rumored to have a cameo of Jason Momoa as Aquaman. Batman v Superman is directed by Zack Snyder and is set to be released to theaters everywhere on March 25, 2016.
