‘Duck Dynasty’ Star John Luke Robertson Marries Mary Kate McEacharn In Romantic Outdoor Wedding
After getting down on one knee last October, John Luke Robertson has taken the plunge and is now a married man. The Duck Dynasty star wed his fiancé of eight months, Mary Kate McEacharn, on Saturday in Louisiana with many family and friends surrounding them.
Us Weekly shared a few details of this fun and romantic wedding. There were around 800 guests in attendance to watch this cute couple say their I do’s on the Robertson family farm. They were outdoors as they exchanged vows and pledged their love forever. The Boss Hog himself, Willie Robertson, was said to have officiated the ceremony.
Mary Kate walked down the aisle to John Luke in a simple, long-flowing wedding dress with a lacy bodice. It was a perfect fit for the blushing bride. It looked like she was all about flowers as she was seen with a flowery headpiece instead of a traditional veil. It matched the bouquet of flowers that she was carrying.
The groom didn’t look so bad either. John Luke Robertson wore a gray suit with a white shirt underneath. His famous dimples were showing as he was smiling widely after he became a married man.

While the sweet flower girls were in white, the bridesmaid’s dresses were a pretty peach color as shown in a Twitter photo that looked like it was taken by a guest watching the whole ceremony.
There was plenty of music as a local band was on hand to play sweet songs such as “Here Come the Sun” and “Sweet Caroline.” Of course, there just couldn’t be a Robertson shindig if there wasn’t plenty of yummy food on hand. Their guests were spoiled by mini tacos, hamburgers, barbecue shrimp, grilled chicken skewers, and brisket sliders. The wedding cake was said to be six tiers high. Then to change things up a bit, the couple chose to replace the groom’s cake with yummy cronuts.
As reported by the Inquisitr last year, John Luke proposed to Mary Kate last October on his 19th birthday, and she made no hesitation to say yes. They have been excited to be planning for the wedding and their new lives together. Even though they are both quite young, this couple will do just fine. Mom, Korie Robertson, even mentioned that she can’t wait to have some grandbabies.
The Duck Dynasty clan has supported them all the way. It must have been an emotional time for Willie and Korie to see their baby boy get hitched. Dad probably shed a tear or two watching his eldest pledge his love and leave the house. After all, he cried his way through their musical as seen on the reality show.
Little sis, Sadie Robertson, was quite happy for her brother and was thrilled to get another sister in the family. She sent out this cute photo of the happy couple dancing under the night sky in what looked to be their first dance as husband and wife.
