Vicki Gunvalson has been busy during the Real Housewives of Orange County hiatus, as she has been taking care of Brooks Ayers.
He was diagnosed with cancer and has been going through chemo. To take care of him, Vicki moved him into her Orange County home. But it sounds like Gunvalson may have lost a friend or two in the process.
It is no secret that Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Barney couldn’t get along near the end of the previous season. And after Brooks was diagnosed with cancer, Gunvalson was shocked that Barney wasn’t there to help her out. After speaking with Barney during her party, Vicki feels better about their friendship and about moving forward.
According to a new Bravo report, Vicki Gunvalson may be trying to work things out with Barney, but she was shocked when she saw Eddie Judge’s reaction to her phone call. Vicki called her former friend to talk things through and invite her to a party, but Eddie questioned her motives, including Brooks’ cancer diagnosis.
“When Tamra asked me how Brooks was doing, I told her he was having another round of chemo when we returned. I was SHOCKED to hear Eddie mockingly cough in his hand “bullsh!t”. At that time, Eddie had not called Brooks in over 6 months, nor knew anything about his treatment, so for him to say that was very hurtful to Brooks. How would Eddie know if Brooks was having chemo or not?” Vicki Gunvalson explains after watching Eddie’s reaction to the cancer stories.
Gunvalson could have hoped that Eddie would understand their issues in regards to their friendship. It sounds like Vicki may need to talk to Judge about their issues. As she points out, Eddie hadn’t called Brooks in months, despite his cancer diagnosis and him making headlines in regards to his illness.
“It was great finally getting to sit down and quietly talk to (her) in my grotto – alone and without anyone else there to influence us. I was glad to have Tamra finally agree to stop talking negatively about Brooks to anyone. He has been nothing but nice to her, and to have (her) say that “as long as he makes you happy I’m good with it” was like a load off my back. It’s not that I need (her) approval, but I sure don’t need any negativity. Lord knows I’ve had enough of that,” Vicki Gunvalson reveals about their conversation, hinting that things will be better going forward.
It is questionable whether she will have a talk with Eddie Judge to settle whatever drama they have going on. Gunvalson could use some friends, as she is very harsh on herself. According to the Inquisitr , Vicki is very determined to look great with the help of plastic surgery. But with some strong friendships, she may be able to build confidence in a different way.
