The Real Housewives of New York star Sonja Morgan has been working hard behind the scenes to launch her brand new product line, but her co-stars are not necessarily seeing all of her hard work. With several major business owners in the group, Morgan felt that they were downplaying her hard work.
After a dramatic weekend in Atlantic City, Sonja Morgan managed to frustrate her co-stars, who were simply trying to understand her business model. Sonja felt that none of the wives were supportive of her, and she quickly changed her tune. Instead of hanging out with them, Morgan decided to take a few steps back.
According to a new Bravo report, Sonja Morgan is now revealing that she is happy that she didn’t attend the highly emotional dinner with the other ladies. In fact, Sonja is now sharing that she distanced herself a little bit from the other ladies after Atlantic City.
“I’m glad I didn’t come to that dinner at The Red Lion. Sometimes these girls are emotional vampires, and I get tired of having to lighten up the mood all the time. Ever since Atlantic City I have been taking a step back,” Sonja Morgan reveals in her blog.
Even though Sonja was not at the dinner with the ladies, she was shocked at how Bethenny Frankel was portrayed. Carole Radziwill hinted that Frankel was choosing her daughter over the ladies at any given time, when this was not the case. Since Morgan has been in a similar situation, she can relate.
“Carole did not accurately represent Bethenny’s position at all! Bethenny did not say that she needed to spend every minute with her daughter — she said that when she has her daughter on the weekends, she’s not going to give that up to go to the Berkshires,” Sonja Morgan reveals, adding, “I can therefore understand what Bethenny is going through. I was there 10 years ago with a 5-year-old getting divorced and sued just like Bethenny. I feel as though I am just coming out the other end now. Whew!”
As for Sonja, she feels that she is a fighter when it comes to her financial troubles. Plus, she is shocked that none of the other ladies are truly showing their support for her. According to the Inquisitr , Morgan reveals that she thinks the other ladies cannot be happy for one another, especially when it comes to their business successes.
