A strange Dallas robbery happened at a 7-Eleven on Greenville Avenue. The robber walked in and wasted no time. However, the customer’s reaction was sensible.
At the beginning of the video, you notice that the customer is checking out at the register. While he was counting money, the suspect rushes through the door and snatches the money out of his hand.
From the scene, it looked as if the customer was about to react defensively. However, upon a quick scan, he saw that he was at gunpoint.
In a time of anxiety like this, a person might not react in the most efficient or safe way. Easily, the customer could have excited the robber by running out the doors. Yet, during this Dallas-store robbery , the customer responded in a calm manner.
He took a step back and remained cool as the man coerced the cash drawer from the clerk. It was important that the customer not incite the man to try anything more hostile than was already happening.
At the moment, Dallas police are trying to identify the robber. According to Dallas Morning News , the guy is described as follows.
“Police say the suspect is a black male between 25-35 and has a tattoo under his right eye.”
Likewise, they advise if anyone has any information on the man, they are to contact authorities directly.
“If you can ID the man, police are asking you to call Detective Land at 214-671-3705 or CrimeStoppers at 214-373-8477.”
