Is A New ‘Real Housewife’ Coming Soon? Kathy Hilton Could Take Kim Richards’ Spot On ‘RHOBH’ [Report]
A new Real Housewife is reportedly headed to Beverly Hills. On the heels of the news of Kim Richards’ firing from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, her older step-sister, Kathy Hilton, has been named as the possible new Real Housewife.
On June 4, All About The Tea recounted a TMZ Live episode, during which Hilton’s potential Real Housewife role on the Beverly Hills-based series was discussed.
“I wouldn’t be shocked if [Bravo] got rid of [Kim Richards] and brought in Kathy Hilton. From what I’ve been told…they might be bringing her in and pushing one out.”
The site also reported on possible tension between the two sisters. According to TMZ Live, they recently interviewed Hilton, and she seemed to be noticeably detached from her sister’s current situation. As fans are aware, Richards has been struggling with addiction for the past several months, and at this point, her situation doesn’t appear to be headed in a positive direction. Just last week, Richards, who was in Mexico for her daughter’s wedding, went missing, and reportedly engaged in a pill and alcohol bing. Although she is in rehab currently, her future sobriety is up in the air, and Bravo, via E! News, recently cut ties.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kathy Hilton had been reportedly giving Richards between $5,000 and $10,000 per month in financial help, but recently cut her off. Prior to news of her possibly become the new Real Housewife, Radar Online claimed Hilton had stop sending her sister money.
“Hilton has supported the former child star for the last several years, after Kyle stopped paying for a majority of their sister’s bills. After Kim relapsed at Brooke’s wedding, Kathy realized that she was enabling the behavior. There will no longer be any money going to Kim from Kathy.”
If Hilton is the new Real Housewife, she may be one of a couple, as not everyone’s return to the series has been confirmed. While Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna and Kyle Richards attended a recent event for Bravo’s upcoming programing, Yolanda Foster, Eileen Davidson and Brandi Glanville were noticeably absent, hinting they may not be back for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season six.
If the ladies do not return to the show, Hilton would surely make a great Real Housewife, and it would be interesting to see how her relationships with the other women, including her step-sister, Kyle, would evolve.
