Asifa Mirza Reflects On ‘Shahs’ Experience While Bobby Panahi Previews Reunion Tension
While Asifa Mirza and Bobby Panahi weren’t on Monday night’s Shahs of Sunset season finale episode much because they left Thailand early, they still left quite an impression on the season, thanks to their constant fighting with one another. On Monday, prior to the airing of the Season 4 finale episode, Asifa posted a lengthy Instagram message in which she reflected on her premiere season, which focused heavily on her tumultuous relationship with Bobby. She also thanked her co-stars for welcoming her.
“It’s been an amazing and once in a life time experience to share my life story with all of you lovely people. Life isn’t picture perfect as we’d like it to be, but that’s where the beauty lies. If it weren’t for our mistakes then there would be no growth or progression. We all know struggle and sometimes go through it for similar reasons and causes. Watching my life play back to me wasn’t an easy experience but it was humbling and has made me a better person. We should all strive toward betterment and learn from our life lessons. I respect and love my friends who have done this for 4 years and welcomed me with open arms @asasoltan@rezafarahan@gg_golnesa@mikeshouhed. This selfie was taken in Thailand – I will forever remember that trip. Tune in with me tonight as we celebrate the end of a wonderful chapter #Season4#shahs#bravo.”
Mercedes “MJ” Javid was noticeably left out of Asifa’s thank you message. In her latest BravoTV.com blog post, MJ slammed Asifa Mirza and Bobby Panahi for airing their dirty laundry. She called them “toxic” and criticized them for bringing the trip down.
“However, the extra salt on the wound is the incessant fighting between Bobbifa. They are using this trip as a dysfunctional group therapy session. No one wants to be privy to the inner workings of their deeply abusive relationship, and none of us seem to have a choice since we are stuck on a plane, then an airport for a 12 hour layover, then a bus, then a dinner. All I can think of is how grateful I am that regardless of my problems in life, at least I don’t publicly insult my significant other. It’s deeply disturbing to be present for them to air out their very disrespectful daggers back and forth. They are the only couple here with their significant other and they are making a mockery of the whole intention and meaning of this trip. How can we bond among ourselves and help Reza heal with some laughs while we do some light hearted soul searching and swim in exotic water like this? I’m sorry, but they are toxic.”
MJ’s apparent dislike of Asifa hasn’t gone unnoticed by some of her co-stars. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Asa Soltan Rahmati, in mid-April, called out MJ for being rude and mean to Asifa because of jealousy and her own insecurities.
Like Asifa, Bobby also seems to have enjoyed filming the season. He tweeted that he and Asifa are people’s guilty pleasure.
Just admit to yourself that we're a guilty pleasure #Shahs

He also cleared up the perception that he and Asifa manufactured their drama for TV.
So you think Asifa planned 7 years to take advantage of me and I spent 7 for TV? Quit the PI job immediately. You suck at it

Viewers will see Asifa Mirza and Bobby Panahi discussing their on-and-off relationship on the upcoming Shahs of Sunsetreunion show. Will viewers also see Mercedes “MJ” Javid rolling her eyes when Asifa and Bobby start talking?
Watch the reunion episode that me and Asifa address each other, but what happens today means nothing tomorrow #Shahs
