Alexander Skarsgard Is ‘Getting Serious’ About His New Love
It seems that Alexander Skarsgard, 38, best known for his True Blood role is getting pretty serious about girlfriend Alexa Chung, 31, Britich model and TV personality. Rumors began circulating about Skasrsgard’s interest in Chung when the two were spotted taking a romantic walk in Brooklyn’s Botanical Gardens and Prospect Park on May 29.
A source reported to US Weekly that the relationship between Alexander and Alexa “is serious and has really heated up.”
“It’s a fun committed relationship for both of them. She’s just about as busy as he is and it’s really feasible (for them) to become a more committed couple, but the hang outs are great.”
The date was spent with Skarsgard and Chung taking photos of one another while they snuggled under a tree in the park. Alexander and Alexa were also seen earlier in the week enjoying an outing at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City.
“They were deep in conversation,” reported an eyewitness. “He seemed really laid-back but she seemed super animated and into him.”
The couple have been seen out together on several previous occasions, adding truth to the rumor that their relationship is heating up. Comedienne Hayley Sacks recognized the pair at Bluebird Coffee and posted a picture of the rendezvous between Skarsgard and Chung on her Instagram account.
“I try not to post blurry pictures on Instagram BUT I am in the middle of breaking an important celebrity news story and so rules don’t really apply. That is Alexa Chung! I just saw her with Alexander Skarsgard from True Blood,” Ms. Sacks captioned the photo. “They were eating avocado toast and rubbing each other’s lower backs. No one knows they are dating yet except ME and now you. I just feel like I have to tell you bc Brian Williams never will. Okay signing off now. Go tell ten people or you’ll have bad luck forever.”
It seems that Alexander Skarsgard has been a hot item ever since he appeared in Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” video. In the past, Skarsgard dated Kate Bosworth from 2009 to 2011 and he was also spotted kissing his Tarzan co-star Margot Robbie at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.
Previously, Alexa Chung was in a committed relationship with Arctic Monkeys singer Alex Turner until July 2011.
Mr. Skarsgard has kept busy, following the conclusion of the True Blood series, working on several films. In addition to Tarzan, which will hit theaters in July 2016, Alexander Skarsgard has just finished filming Hidden, a horror film scheduled to be released sometime before the end of the year.
