Gigi Hadid Recreates ‘Bad Blood’ With Taylor Swift After Cody Simpson Breakup, Diss

Gigi Hadid may be keeping busy since calling it quits with on-again, off-again boyfriend Cody Simpson only a few weeks ago. However, after Simpson threw major shade at Hadid by claiming he’s having the time of his life post-breakup, how is Hadid taking the heartbreaking diss?

Gigi Hadid is reportedly keeping in good company after splitting from Cody Simpson, People Magazine confirms. The model was spotted in New York City on Friday night with best friends Martha Hunt and Taylor Swift where the trio was ironically photographed accidentally recreating a frame from Swift’s recently released video for “Bad Blood.”

Swift took to Instagram to post the paparazzi pic, which shows Hadid, herself, and Hunt all walking side-by-side just as they were in Swift’s epic video, minus the explosions of course, captioning the shot, “On tonight’s episode of ‘Not Purposely Trying to Recreate Music Videos, Just Going Out For Indian Food.'”

Sources close to Hadid suggest that the model is having a difficult time post-breakup, noting that she’s leaning on close friends for support during this difficult time.

In addition to hanging with Swift, Hadid was previously spotted with close pal Joe Jonas, instantly igniting old dating rumors. While both Jonas and Hadid denied the claims, admitting that they are just good friends and that Jonas is supporting her after her breakup from Simpson, it appears Simpson is getting the last laugh.

TMZ caught up with the singer on Wednesday night, where the pop star was spotted hanging with a fairly large group of girls.

When photographers asked Simpson how he was fairing after the abrupt split from Hadid, whose rep cited scheduling conflicts as the reason for the former couple’s breakup, Simpson didn’t appear to be mourning his relationship with Gigi.

One photographer asked the star, “How’s single life treatin’ ya?” to which Simpson smiled and replied, “It’s pretty sweet.”

As for what the “best part” of the breakup is, Simpson seemingly throws even more shade at Hadid, telling photographers, “Everything you think it is,” before following his group of friends back to their car.

Hadid has yet to speak out against Simpson’s alleged diss, however, TMZ did note that Gigi has since been spotted hanging with several guys on their luxury yachts in the Mediterranean, further suggesting that she may not be as beat up about the split as sources are letting on.

Hadid currently keeps busy alongside friends Swift and Hunt, who were spotted hanging with the “Bad Blood” singer on her 1989 tour stop in Detroit, as confirmed by Just Jared.
