Bruce Jenner To Appear On Cover Of ‘Vanity Fair’ As A Woman
In recent months, the public has heard much about Bruce Jenner’s transitioning from a man to a woman. Viewers have heard the talk, and now Jenner is set to appear on the cover of Vanity Fair as a woman. Legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz will reportedly shoot the cover. The inside story will unveil Jenner’s new name and identity as a woman, according to Us Weekly.
“Over the years, Jenner has posed for many magazine covers, but this will be the first time the former Olympian will appear in a photo shoot as a woman.”
Last April, Jenner admitted during a one-on-one interview with Diane Sawyer that that would be the last time he would be referred to in an interview as a male. At the time, he did not reveal what his new name would be.
“The Vanity Fair issue where Jenner will be on the cover is scheduled to hit newsstands this summer.”
Bruce, 65, jokingly told Diane that while he has been with the Kardashians for years, he was the one with “the story.” Recently, there was a two-part Keeping Up With the Kardashians special about Bruce. The reality star opened up about his transition with his family.
The father of 10 talked to his stepdaughters, Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian, about his decision to go through with the transitioning. He also talked to his two biological daughters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Bruce told all five girls that he has already had some cosmetic procedures done. Those procedures included a nose job and work on his upper lip and forehead.
Kim seems to be the most accepting of Bruce’s transitioning. After the special, she told Billy Bush of Access Hollywood that she’s seen Jenner in a dress and she’s “beautiful.”
“It was amazing. She looked beautiful, really beautiful. She was dressed up, beautiful makeup, beautiful hair, very, very beautiful and very comfortable.”
When Billy asked Kim if she knew Jenner’s feminine name, she replied, “I do. I can’t tell you though,” but she admitted she likes the name. Billy asked, “Does it start with a ‘K’?”
Kim admits the big discussion in their family right now is when do they change over from “he” to “she” because they want to make sure they are “doing the right thing and honor the transgender community.”
The Kardashian-Jenner daughters are fully supporting of their dad. Khloe, 30, gave him several pairs of size 13M high heels. There is one pair of white heels just like a pair that Khloe has. She says now the two of them can wear matching shoes.
