Watch New Zealand Vs. England 2nd Test Live Online Free: Cricket Streaming From Headingley
England goes for the sweep of their two-match Test cricket series against New Zealand starting Friday, and fans can watch Day One live online for free to see if the revitalized England continues the upbeat, positive style of cricket it used to score a dramatic come-from-behind win at Lord’s earlier this week — a style that New Zealand Captain Brendon McCullum later questioned as not “authentic.”
To watch the New Zealand vs. England Second Test Day One live online free, see the information at the bottom of this story. The match opens Friday at 11 a.m. at Headingley Stadium in Leeds — that’s 6 a.m. United States Eastern Time, 3 a.m. Pacific.
England will be going for their second straight home Test series win over New Zealand. In 2013, the Black Caps also played a two-Test series in England, first dropping the opener at Lord’s, then moving to Headingley and losing there, as well.
In addition to trying to take the series, England is looking at two major milestones for star players that will almost certainly occur during the Second Test.
Captain Alastair Cook (pictured above) is poised to put his name in the England cricket history books, needing just 32 runs to pass the legendary Graham Gooch’s national record of 8,900 Test Match runs.
Bowler James Anderson also stands on the verge of a landmark, needing just a single wicket to raise his total to 400 taken in Test matches.
England will likely attempt to prove McCullum wrong, as well. The New Zealand captain questioned whether the aggressive cricket England played at Lord’s was their “authentic style,” going on to suggest that England were simply “stumbling” into the win at Lord’s.
