Ramona Singer wants to join the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars . Although the 21st season of the hit ABC dancing competition won’t begin until August or September, the Real Housewives of New York City star is already planning her stint on the show — right down to her potential partner.
As the International Business Times reported on May 22, Ramona Singer is looking forward to a possible visit to the ballroom and hopes Val Chmerkovskiy, who recently won the mirrorball with Rumor Willis, will be her partner.
“He can lift me up and throw me around,” Ramona Singer told People Magazine .
“I love to dance. It’s something I have enjoyed for many years and always have. I used to dance in clubs until like three in the morning and I didn’t care if I had a date or not, I would just dance by myself. It would be a wonderful experience. I find dancing very sensual, plus I could learn some new moves.”
As for what Chmerkovskiy has to say, he recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly , revealing he was on board for season 21 .
“Just don’t tell Rumer I said this, but I’m very excited to be back next season and hopefully do it again.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Ramona Singer has been dealing with a messy divorce from husband Mario, whom she caught cheating on her last year.
Although it is unclear when Mario’s affair with the much younger Kasey Dexter, a New York City socialite and fitness instructor, began, reports began swirling in 2013, which claimed the two had engaged in an affair. By January of 2014, Ramona Singer had filed for divorce, but weeks later, she and her husband were back on and attempting to reconcile their marriage.
While things appeared to be going well for the first few months of their reconciliation, by summer of 2014, they were at each other’s throats again after Ramona Singer reportedly caught Mario with Dexter for a second time. From there, the couple officially split, with Singer announcing the breakup on Twitter, and Mario went public with his mistress a short time later.
Following the breakup, Mario and Dexter split, and Singer began dating other men. While the reality star doesn’t appear to be dating anyone exclusively at this point, she has expressed interest in finding love once again.
